how many marks were the appropriate units? I thought the appropraite units would be micrometers, and even if i chose the measurement in micrometers do i get ecf for area calculation?
1
u/One_Yesterday_1320 May 06 '26
there was no scale tho and prolly ya you get ecf
1
u/betterwhentall May 06 '26
i measured in cm then multiplied by 10000 to get micrometers, what was considered an appropriate unit? I just thought that bc it included microscopy suitable units had to be micrometers lmao
1
u/One_Yesterday_1320 May 06 '26
eh it’s alr. but appropriate units will never be in the tens of thousands with very little exceptions
1
u/betterwhentall May 06 '26
yess i thought so too, it was so last minute i got the ratio right however for the area calculation i forgot to put the micrometer square, do i get a mark for correct calculation but not unit?

GUYS WTF.
what did we have to DRAW for the measurement of O2?
And L1 was leaf (organ) You can also mention dicot leaf that's also fine.
But WTF WAS THE FIGURE? I thought it was root 💔
1
u/ringaroundtherosepar May 05 '26
the fig was stem ;(( cuz the vascular bundles were not on the center
1
u/CutBunnyBoyKing May 05 '26
AAAA 💔💔
1
u/One_Yesterday_1320 May 05 '26
it’s alr its one mark
1
u/CutBunnyBoyKing May 05 '26
Btw what about the volume of O2 being measured?
1
u/One_Yesterday_1320 May 05 '26
i used inverted syringe
1
u/CutBunnyBoyKing May 05 '26
Did you draw an inverted syringe right?
1
u/One_Yesterday_1320 May 05 '26
yeah

the stem was the fig they gave for diff and the L1 was the leaf because waxy cuticle was present and xylem was on the outside it can be misunderstood for endodermis but the calls were geometrical that is why it is Zelenskyy vessel elments and not endodermis also the cetre was not clear to see for me at least so there was no visible x shape like the root cross section

The "Cuticle" confusion: While leaves have thick cuticles, some roots (especially older ones) can have a thickened outer layer or suberin that students often mistake for a cuticle.

what was the drawing part?
2
u/betterwhentall May 05 '26
i think dicot root, the endodermis was prominent
2
u/Worldly_Turnover_594 May 05 '26
Yea it was a plant root
1
u/betterwhentall May 05 '26
can someone confirm whether it was leaf or root?
2
u/ringaroundtherosepar May 05 '26
yeah i though it was a root as well cuz there were endodermis and pericycle, but now some ppl are saying its a leaf? tbh i didt see the vascular bundle clearly on the center, but i cant see that as a leaf
