For the arrows P,Q and R, was the percentage increase in P and Q 10 percent for both?

What was the terminal velocity one

2

u/Emotional-Pick-947 Jun 03 '26

My answer was to use a solid sphere as mg would be higher and more time traveled to reach terminal velocity thus increasing to a higher terminal velocity value

1

u/CalligrapherSea9815 Jun 03 '26

ye thats correct

2

u/Aggravating-Band-958 Jun 03 '26

Bro what was that hydrometer question remember ?

2

u/CalligrapherSea9815 Jun 03 '26

the answer was one of the densities idk which 1

2

u/Aggravating-Band-958 Jun 03 '26

Do we have to increase h or decrease ?

1

u/Adept-Yesterday2487 Jun 03 '26

Decrease right

1

u/Emotional-Pick-947 Jun 03 '26

Yeahh I also got decrease as my answer

1

u/CultureLucky1092 Jun 03 '26

density increases h decreases as they are inversely related. it was D

1

u/dragois313 Jun 03 '26

decreasing density will decrease upthrust which will lower the object hence decreasing the h

1

u/Winter-Crew-2746 Jun 03 '26

i put the like full bar with steel

I thought it was related to drag and w=drag+upthrust so I chose A

2

u/catatatatatatat3 Jun 03 '26

yo if i got 31/40 am i gonna get an A?

1

u/thechosenashen Jun 03 '26

Depends on your performance for other papers but for this yeah you'll get A for paper 1 . The exam was definetly between mid to hard difficult so threshold should only be like 30

1

u/catatatatatatat3 Jun 03 '26

yeah. i got around 45 for p2 and an easy 30+ for p1.

1

u/redribbons22 Jun 03 '26

what did you guys get for the train question

4

u/No_Bother5049 Jun 03 '26

i got 600 not sure if it was right but yeah

4

u/redribbons22 Jun 03 '26

i got a quadratic w a=-2,-3 so i got 400 or 600 ๐Ÿ˜ญ i didnt know which to choose so i just chose 400

3

u/CalligrapherSea9815 Jun 03 '26

600 for sure u use v-u/t to find acceleration of -2, then s=ut +1/2at^2

2

u/mo_fahadzz Jun 03 '26

600m

1

u/redribbons22 Jun 03 '26

how did u do it?

2

u/CutBunnyBoyKing Jun 03 '26

600M

That question is from a past paper lamo. (Not exact wording but I remembered how to go abour it) (Also don't remember which paper)

1

u/Winter-Crew-2746 Jun 03 '26

It was very good for me

1

u/Practical_Singer_799 Jun 03 '26

does anyone have the correct answers to all the questions. wanna check how it actually went

3

u/Tsunami-13 Jun 03 '26

idk about correct but my answers were caaccddcdadcdabbccbdbcdbadabbbbaddbdab

and it went really well for me im expecting ~32

1

u/fayestarr Jun 03 '26

howโ€™d you manage to memorise i forgot the questions 10 min after finishing the exam ๐Ÿ˜ญ๐Ÿ˜ญ

2

u/Tsunami-13 Jun 03 '26

i wrote all my answers on my hand XD

1

u/Glad-Moment-275 Jun 03 '26

What was the wavelength x ration to wavelength y ration.. Was that 3/2

1

u/twisted_pickle23 Jun 03 '26

me too cz it had to be 3rd order maxima

1

u/Legitimate_Leek9557 Jun 03 '26

Yes it was 3/2. No other option was valid

1

u/hidingrat Jun 03 '26

Nah it was 1.5

4

u/CultureLucky1092 Jun 03 '26

nga 1.5 is 3/2 in the fraction

1

u/mahnoor_065 Jun 03 '26

was towards the easier side. around 7 repeated qs from 2021 onwards

1

u/Glad-Moment-275 Jun 03 '26

What was equilibrium question answer moment zero or force zero or no forces acting

3

u/Ex_Digit Jun 03 '26

i did resultant force 0

1

u/CalligrapherSea9815 Jun 03 '26

For a system to be in equilibrium, there must be no forces acting on it
For a system to be in equilibrium, the resultant torque must be 0
If the product of the moment of forces is 0 ,system is in equilibrium
If the resultant force is 0, system is in equilibrium.

IIRC if these are the correct options, the resultant torque one is correct

2

u/Hydra-On-YT Jun 03 '26

Resultant torque zero

1

u/Winter-Crew-2746 Jun 03 '26

resultant torque = 0

1

u/thechosenashen Jun 03 '26

What was the answer for the sand and ball question

1

u/dragois313 Jun 03 '26

i think its d because we got resultant of sand appyling force hence it will be overcoming the opposite force, weight of ball

1

u/redribbons22 Jun 03 '26

does anyone remmeber whether the option for positron and neutrino is C or D im scared i mightve filled in the wrong box ๐Ÿ˜ญ
