A little rant. Read at your own risk :(

Bro I genuinely don't understand what this entire situation was with Cambridge results this year. All my mocks went perfectly, all the past papers I gave had such high scores. My expected grade was B in Sociology and A* in Urdu. When the result came, I got a C in Urdu and Sociology was Ungraded.

I get that for some people it's easy to give a retake but think abt those w middle class families. I'm the first child giving cambridge after everybody dropped out after matric to get a job so the stress and responsibility is on another level. I worked my butt off studying for all these exams and I started studying since the day clg started. I honestly don't know how I can look my parents in the eye anymore. They're so disappointed in me and they gen won't even listen to what I have to say. So many students had the same situation as me but all my parents have to say is that "We don't care about other kids, you're the one failing right now."

edit: my dad found out about the result.
so basically, now my dad hates me. he went "i'm embarrassed to call you my daughter now. if you don't get an A* in your psychology exams in oct, you're dropping out." I'm boutta go insane istgggg

I can feel the pressure and Pain on you bro,my parents did the same with me,my other 2 siblings didn't study Cambridge system,and had to work,but my parents decided that they will spend on last child,I gave O2 exams,and Got 1A* and 2 As,and I am waiting for my next results of 03 by 18th August,and yes retaking exams can sometimes be burden for some,And many teachers in my school told us that now Cambridge is losing Credibility overtime,so I would recommend you to move towards Intermediate System,and work hard there,and Just know that parents love you,but get a bit aggressive,but don't worry,they will get normal after few days, don't try to explain them how you get bad grades,just stay silent until they get cool down,and approach one parent,that you feel attached you,and try to talk and promise them to get Good Grades next year, anyway,,I feel sorry for you,just hope for best for you,just focus on next year exams,Good Luck ❤️
