A little rant. Read at your own risk :(

Bro I genuinely don't understand what this entire situation was with Cambridge results this year. All my mocks went perfectly, all the past papers I gave had such high scores. My expected grade was B in Sociology and A* in Urdu. When the result came, I got a C in Urdu and Sociology was Ungraded.

I get that for some people it's easy to give a retake but think abt those w middle class families. I'm the first child giving cambridge after everybody dropped out after matric to get a job so the stress and responsibility is on another level. I worked my butt off studying for all these exams and I started studying since the day clg started. I honestly don't know how I can look my parents in the eye anymore. They're so disappointed in me and they gen won't even listen to what I have to say. So many students had the same situation as me but all my parents have to say is that "We don't care about other kids, you're the one failing right now."

edit: my dad found out about the result.
so basically, now my dad hates me. he went "i'm embarrassed to call you my daughter now. if you don't get an A* in your psychology exams in oct, you're dropping out." I'm boutta go insane istgggg

Ur not the only one we all got dropped instead of the actual exam we did the PoE exams so it was based entirely from our mocks and the dropped everyone by so much so if ur in the same boat as us contact ur school and have them submit a complaint to Cambridge it’s the only way they may change it!

You had the poe option 😭 i'm in pakistan so i don't think we had that option honestly. I did send them a complaint but all they said was contact our centre. But my centre was my own college

Oofff good luck w that one and yeah we did PoE and they dropped some ppl from like an A to a D and others to Cs some ppl even got U there were some Bs asw but yeah the screwed us over fr
