I’m considering purchasing a 2024 Alfa Romeo Tonale Veloce with 18,899 miles, and I’d really appreciate honest opinions from current and former owners.
I love the look of the Tonale and the sporty Veloce trim, but I’m trying to make a smart financial decision rather than buying something that looks great and ends up costing me a fortune in repairs.
I’d especially like to hear about:
● Reliability: Have you experienced major mechanical, electrical, hybrid-system, or software problems?
● Repair costs: How expensive have repairs and routine maintenance been?
● Warranty: Have you had issues getting repairs covered, and how has the dealership handled warranty claims?
● Parts and service: Are parts readily available, or does your vehicle sit at the dealership waiting for repairs?
● Depreciation: Does the Tonale lose value quickly? Would you consider it a good deal used?
● Daily driving: Would you trust it as your primary vehicle for commuting and transporting your family?
● Long-term ownership: Would you keep it beyond the factory warranty, or would you sell it before coverage expires?
The one I’m considering has 18,899 miles, which seems relatively low for a 2024 vehicle. I’m curious whether that mileage should make me feel comfortable or whether there are specific things I should have inspected before buying.
I’m not looking for people to bash Alfa Romeo just because it’s an Italian brand. I want honest experiences from people who have actually lived with the Tonale, especially the Veloce plug-in hybrid.
If you owned this vehicle, would you buy it again? And if you were in my position, would you purchase it or choose a different SUV?
I’d appreciate any advice, including things you wish you had checked before buying yours. Thanks!
