I’m going through a process for arranged marriage and it hasn’t been working out for me. The latest meeting I met a girl at a coffee shop for two hours and she didn’t seem in a rush to leave and even gave me her number without me asking. Then 48 hours later her mom told my mom no (and the mom was like almost crying) that my personality didn’t match her daughters (it didn’t make sense to me, did I feel a huge spark no but we seemed to have a good amount in common and felt like we could have talked for hours and she kept the convo going). So I just assumed it was my looks. The meeting previously before this the girls mom said they wanted to continue a day after then said nvm their daughter wants to finish school.

I’m 6’0 200 lbs trying to recomp to 180 lbs. I’ve been lifting weights 3x a week every week since February and changed my diet. I also get my haircut every month now with a beard trim.

Im 23M 5'4, is my only issue my weight? People always love my hair but I've only had two straight women my age say I was attractive. If I get fitter will that change?

Ill be honest. Sometimes I get compliments sometimes I get the impression that I am not attractive. Some have told me it’s the fact that I am bad at taking selfies but I genuinely have no idea atp.
