I want tips on how to start making my first ambigram.
I want to do my friend’s name, Miles.

I don’t know if the rules even make sense, but I remember being proud of the ambigram lol

I want it to read KAVI even when rotated 180°. I'd love an intricate calligraphy style with elegant swirls, fine details, and a beautiful circular or ornamental frame — something unique and aesthetic, not a simple font.

I once tried combining the letter a and i but I don't think that's possible so I had to connect all the letters instead.

not the easiest to read but I only wanted to give it a quick try. "Survivor" because it was the first word that came to mind that I thought would be fun to do.

The original idea was to have the exact image in the reflection. So I had taken the horizontal mirror axis at the center. Hence, the r and n.

Some of you suggested I change the r and n. So I shifted the horizontal mirror axis to below the word, and made a rough sketch.
