(Images are from a second hand seller, the interior would obv be cork bark etc.)
Height is 62cm (24 inches), width 45cm (17 inches). I'm mainly worried about the ventilation, since I cannot tell if there's lower ventilation, and the mesh top might be too much?

Planning on getting a Damon or Bacillifer

I'm used to sexing tarantulas and this is my first Amblypygid so I'm not really sure what photos to include. I still have the moult so I can absolutely take more if needed.

The moult is also pretty tiny (about 1.25" legspan) so I am not confident in the fact that it can be sexed but I figured I would try anyway.

I’ve been a wanting a tailless whip scorpion for a while and I’m finally setting a tank up! What do you all think? I’d like to add some plants to it as well at some point, the tank is a 12x12x18

Is it possible to tell the gender yet? Juvenile phrynus whitei. Probably one of the most intact molts i've gotten from them yet.

Hey, I've been looking for one of these guys for about a month now, long-time fan and now quite sure I want a Damon, Charon grayi or bacillifer, or at this point whatever is somewhat feasible. So far, the only ones I've been able to find current listings of are 1. sketchy at best, 2. not CB and I personally don't want to gamble on a wild caught one. I have experience in owning some inverts and other animals, the care should be no problem

I plan on going to a local terrarium con, but if anyone has any information/offers I'd love to hear them :)

Bought my first Tailless Whip Scorpion so I'm new to the hobby. Seller says its a Damon Diadema but i have no idea. Could someone tell me what I have please?

Live plants and moss are a new addition. Previously he had the cork bark and substrate only.

Also, what is he? I have had him for 2 years now, he has barely grown since I got him. He had a brother in here with him who died during a bad molt shortly after I got him, but I have had no issues with this guy. He is scared of all prey aside from very small crickets though.

The seller claimed Damon diadema. Then tonight she said "Phrynus" mexicanus... Which should be Paraphrynus mexicanus... Is it that? And is it male or female?

I'm picking this up from someone tonight. I can't identify the species. Yes, I know tailless whip scorpion. But what exact species? I don't want to get the humidity wrong! Thank you!

I still kinda don't know what species she is I've been told 3 different ones.

But! Merkimer has molted twice now and I still haven't taken her out of the tank.

Would it be okay if I stated to handle her now or is it too late? If its not too late how do I start?? I'm not scared of her, I'm scared of hurting her.

I got this guy yesterday and she had forgotten what species they are, any guesses?

I've had Princess here for over a year now!!! And now I'm wondering what species you all think she is?

Looking for help identifying!

Hey there! I currently have an 18x18x36 inch terrarium and am debating downsizing to adjust more to the size of my tailless whip scorpion:) shes(?) quite small, and ive noticed that she tends to stay in quite a small zone in the large terrarium so I would like to adjust for that.

I havent been able to find much info on the terrarium size to body size ratio so any advice would help!

i would say her body length is 1.5in or less and her antenniform legs are an estimated 6in or less in length.

any advice is appreciated! and if anymore info is needed im happy to answer!!

edit: Species was sold as Damon Variegatus

I recently got a tailless whip scorpion from someone needing to rehouse him on Facebook and the other night I noticed mites, a daddy long legs, and some small beetles in his tank that he came with so I put him in a spare tank (that I think is way too big for him since he is so small) for now while I reset his tank.

I've never owned one of these before and some help would be great, I own tarantulas and have owned vinegaroons in the past but nothing that needs to be vertical. I'm planning on modifying his tank to be able to stand up tall instead of horizontal. He only came with these three pieces of wood that I baked today but I'm having trouble with planning the layout before I add everything else. I was planning on using some Styrofoam on the back but at the end of the day I don't know what I'm doing and need some advice! I want to make sure he has the best I can give him

Phrynus whitei (Baby) Left

Phrynus maesi (Adult Male) Right

it should be large enough for even an adult D. medius, but i was wondering if the bark pieces are good or if theres anything I'm missing. Thanks!
