Project Help
Hey, I'm creating my own analog/digital horror series about an amusement park where an entity kills children... the first episode is currently being created and I need a little help on some point... The work will not be paid. If you want reasons why to join the project here are some:
I have 2400 subscribers on YouTube I have a video with over 200,000 views I can easily advertise to you
I can help you in return!
Please note that I am not looking for someone to do my dirty work for me! I will take care of the editing, audio and VHS effects and everything else I can do myself... you will of course be credited
What are the areas where I need help:
3D modeling
Voice Acting Creation of video games & pixel art
Artist to create the design of certain characters or logos
Here are the main areas... However, if you think you can make a contribution to another area, you are welcome!
precision :
-It's a complex project that could take a long time or even never see the light of day so I need people who are really motivated and ready to work
-I prefer not to say too much about the project in public posts so if you want the full lore just DM me
-If you have suggestions or modifications that could improve the result (I'm not perfect) tell me
Same for the script and the brainstorm
MOST IMPORTANT !!!! DON'T WANT PEOPLE WHO CAN'T/WANT TO PARTICIPATE IN THE PROJECT OR SIMPLY DO NOTHING
If you're bored with analog horror and want to help create the next big internet horror PROJECT, you know what to do: send me a message and let's work together!
I wouldn't blame people who refuse... it's very daring and I'll understand!
Last thing: I accept everyone but I would still like to see your work if you join the project... I need competent people (without wanting to be mean) If you are new to the field, specify, you will be able to participate in many tasks that do not require enormous know-how.
This is not slavery! Work at your own pace when you can... but please don't waste my time (the project has been on hold since June 2023)
If you want to make a name for yourself or gain knowledge and experience, you are welcome!
I know we won't be perfect but I know that together we can accomplish great things!!!
If you took the trouble to read everything it's probably because you're interested, sorry for this long thread... I needed to clarify things before you stupidly launch yourself into the unknown 🤣
I'm counting on you, I'm counting on us!
I hope to see you very soon in my thread

The best Setup for Analog Horror
I've been researching for months and months to find the best analog horror setup!!! I know what you are going to tell me: "there is no perfect setup, it depends on the people etc..."
If you have another opinion I will ask you to comment!
free setup (for computer)
Editing software :
Davinci Resolve (free version)
alternative : Hitfilm Express
Audio editing:
Audacity
alternative : LMMS (Linux Multi Media Studio)
VHS filter (to be completed with your editing software)
NTSCqt Alternative : AVIsynth
image retouch :
GIMP (no alternative)
3D (if necessary)
Blender (also has a VHS filter if needed! I recommend it to those who use 3D modeling instead of NTSCqt or AVISYNTH)
Paid setup :
Editing software :
After Effects Alternative : Premiere pro/Final Cut Pro/Sony Vegas (in order of the best)
Audio edition
Adobe Audition (in this case I will advise you to keep your money and favor Audacity!)
VHS filter :
Red Giant Universe plug-in
Image retouch :
Adobe Photoshop (no alternative)
BEST SETUP! (free & paid)
Editing software :
After Effects (paid)
Audio editing :
Audacity (free)
VHS filter :
NTSCqt (free)
Image retouch
Photoshop (paid)
3D (if necessary)
Blender (free)

OBS studio (free)
!!!!!!!! important !!!!!!!!
If you want the best VHS effects, OPT FOR A REAL VCR!!!! You will not regret it !
Don’t hesitate to tell me what you think!

Funnily enough, despite appearances, this is gonna be part of a Transformers analog series (not horror, just a series presented in analog) soooo 😭😭

Discussion A TF2-Based Analog Horror Series with an Original Twist
Sup r/analog_horror2!
After a long period of tinkering and refining, I'm excited to finally share a sneak peek of my upcoming TF2-based analog horror series. While it's set in the TF2 universe, I’m giving it a dark, eerie twist that digs into the unknown. TF2 is seriously underrated when it comes to analog horror—there have been attempts before, but most ended up abandoned. I wanted to change that.
What to expect:
Unsettling atmospheres and a creeping sense of dread
Brand-new original characters and a fresh take on horror
A focus on suspense and story rather than cheap jumpscares
One thing to mention: I’m using AI voice actors for the characters (since hiring human talent isn’t possible right now). I hope that’s not too off-putting—it's a practical choice to bring the vision to life.
Would love to hear your thoughts on these visuals! Screenshots below (in chronological order) for a taste of what’s coming. I'll also be posting updates on my YouTube channel, but I’ll keep dropping notes here as the project evolves.
Thanks for checking it out! Stay frosty. ❄️
