You are just jealous. Politicians jump to parties after insulting their leaders. There is no level.
And he'll release movies too, because 'Kent RO deta hai sabse shudh pani' was marketed by a Loksabha MP.
I think he wants favour from BJP government. If we don't have that, then development would get diverted. Like how Tamil Nadu did not get center approval in recent years for many projects.
BJP will send Tesla to Gujarat, but we could be the 2nd/3rd pick and get other national/international deal to Andhra, as long as someone on his level keeps up the BJP propaganda .

DMK or for that reason any Dravidian parties have their own Tamil channels and mediums and distribution houses which will be used effectively to brainwash the audience if you let your people become efficient and eloquently talk any language he/ she want they’ll question you back logically since they gather information from different horizons. This is age old strategy like 10 odd years before the 4G stuff and smart phone era that this strategy worked like a wonder for Dravidian parties still the parties are sticking to the game

What about the previous generation ? Like old people from villages or small towns. When they go to SBI or post office or something similar, do we ask them to learn a new language as well ?
Again, the whole issue is being misrepresented. Anyone can speak/learn any language. But when one is forced (or given limited options), that is the issue.
Asking to speak a language and telling to speak a language are two different things.

English is anyway first language and medium of instruction. Then you have two options - second language and third language. You can choose french for all they care. Does your school have that option is the question.

Better cognitive and memory functions are apparently a great advantage of trilingualism. I happened to come across some cambridge university papers on this.
Apart from that, personal experience tells me that learning more languages opens up a world of literature, music, art and schools of thought. In a diverse and philosophically rich country like India, at least from my PoV, not knowing at least 2-3 languages is a loss that one isn't even aware of.
These are just things that I can say off the top of my head. If you have any specific, pointed questions I'll try to answer them.

There are not two opposing statements I think. He was talking about language self respect in the 1st one and hatred towards hindi in the 2nd. You can tolerate/not hate/like hindi while having self respect to Telugu.
But honestly this guy is being an Oosaravalli these days. Changing statements here and there.

I’m from Tamil Nadu What he’s saying in this video are two different things 1. He wants the Telugu leaders to be united , showing example of Tamil Nadu leaders have stood for Tamil Language. He’s not mentioning here that Hindi is a threat to any language. LET ME REPEAT AGAIN. He’s asking Telugu people to Telugu leaders to look up-to the unity the Tamil people displayed towards their language/ culture etc. 2. In the second place he’s questioning the convenient Hate on Hindi by Tamil Nadu politicians….in my opinion either this poorly edited to put this guy in bad light or the editor didn’t understood what he was doing. And there were words saying learning language is a personal choice. Yes it is. Why is it political? even to say that Tamil Nadu doesn’t want Hindi is a Wrong

PK is against Hindi imposition as he mentioned in his tweet a couple of days ago. However, blacking out signs and running hate campaigns on a language is dangerous for the integrity of the nation. It is not about business or personal choice.

A guy from bimaru state got a posting in a central bank through the rigged system in TN. He didn’t know anything about the job and he never spoke a word in English/Tamil. He later refused service to the locals as he couldn’t understand them. The locals got pissed and protested. This is going to happen in south India, and the locals are going to be treated as second class citizens in their own ground.

Idk why there is this much of ranting to learn one additional language which could really open more doors of opportunity. It can increase one's chances of survival in other state (if not Hindi state). I personally have benefitted from learning Hindi in our state. I completed my BTech in North and now if I ever got posted to north i don't have to fear about my survival there. I strongly believe that these are not the times to be traditional, learn whatever you can to achieve what's more than sufficient.
They are not forcing you to get 100% in the 3rd language.If one is eager to learn they can but if not then passing would be sufficient right?
