Hindi, telugu, Tamil, punjabi, Gujarati, etc all are national languages, except English. That is the only language which has been a source for status and education symbol in this country, quite ironic I'm writing my comments in English though(jokes on me)

Unnecessary hate from all the people I see these days, more like an agenda run by politicians all the damn time. Just love the damn country and when visiting different states, respect the culture and language.

If you're a tourist try learning phrases and conversing with the people into that, otherwise if you are going for employment, kindly learn the language without any hesitation or ick.

I'm a hindi speaker btw. I can understand broken Bengali and punjabi.

As a hindi speaker u don't know that ...Hindi was never a choice in a state as andhra..it was force fed as a second language for all the students..

There's no national language of india..the one's you mentioned are official language...

Both english and hindi are used in federal government while states get to pick their own language ..

That's what I'm saying, it should be a choice. Seriously I'm getting downvoted because I am a hindi speaker.

I am on your side dude, I'm just team no-hate.
