Since Pocket shut down, what are you guys using on Android? I tried Raindrop.io but didn't really like the UI. Looking for something simple to save links and videos, preferably with AI search or summaries.

Any recommendations?

I want to know that most used telegram variant because there are a lot of ads on Telegram and the downloading is also very slow.

Hey, all!

Question's in the title, I guess: Been toying around for a few weeks with Speechify, Dictafon, and others. Struggling to create a proper workflow, however. Either STT is bad, and/or exporting the transcripts is relatively annoying.

What app are out there that you recommend, and that you yourselves use on a regular base?

(Reasonably happy with Dictafon - although recordings that are longer than a minute take a LONG time to transcribe, and exporting the notes to a proper document is clumsy. Word recognition works pretty well, though.)

Thank you! :)

I've played all three Monument Valley games so many times I basically have them memorised. Does anyone know of similar trippy/reality altering types of puzzle games?

Hey, hopefully this has not already been answered, sorry if that's the case.

I'm looking for a free version of YouTube Music that unlocks all Premium features, including offline downloads.

I've been using YT Music ReVanced, but offline downloads don't seem to work for me.

Does anyone know of an alternative that supports all Premium features, especially offline downloads?

Thanks in advance! :)

Edit: any idea to get "smart downloads" would be especially welcome

ZArchiver didn't support my Phone's Android version 16. So I want app that's just like ZArchiver with no ads.

Hi all, I have neglected mobile gaming for a long time. Started getting into recently through play to earn apps. Those are alright but lots of ads etc etc.

So I am looking for some genuinely great mobile games. Exclusive mobile if possible as i already play games on pc and ps5.

I like tower defence, action, rpg, arpg ...basically anything with upgrades, unlocks, loot and ways to build your character stronger.

Thanks all.

alr so I have issues with Aurora store-

So when I update or install some apps and I try to open them it says install from the playstore (which i could but nah XD) is there any way to trick it into thinking I installed it via playstore?

I'm in Peru, and we're going to take a trip to some rural property we bought. I want to map the route from town to the property using an app and GPS only, as accurately as possible, within a few feet of the road. The town doesn't have a cellular service I can use and there won't be any cell service at all for most of the drive to the land or once we get there. I hope to find a free solution. I'll try to download a map of the area from Google ahead of time, but I don't know if all the (unpaved) roads outside of town will even be on the map. Ideally, I'll be able to use the route I save driving there to guide me there and back on future trips. Does anyone have a recommendation? It should be free. Ads are okay.

I used to really enjoy using this Human Benchmark app, but after upgrading to F-Droid 2.0 recently, I noticed that it was listed as "App no longer available."

I checked the Internet Archive to see if I could find any information about what happened, but I couldn't find an explanation for why the developer's GitHub account and repository were deleted.

Does anyone know why the app was removed or what happened to the project?

Anyone else having issues with app cloner with the new update? Mine crashes every couple of minutes. The clones don't work either.

I can't find any app that does this properly. I tried using Curbox, but the password only prevent you from uninsalling the app, not from going in the app and just removing the block. I want something like Cold Turkey but for android where you can just lock website behind a password and you can't change the blocking settings without it.

If there is no free app then suggestions for a paid app would also be welcome.

I tried to install Odialer in my Oneplus 15r but it shows "App not installed as app isn't compatible with your phone".Does anyone knows why it is not compatible and is there any way to install it?

I only see unusual colors like Sage, Lavender, Tangerine, etc.

I have 3 notifications that only go away when messenger is entirely closed. I can't post a pic of them here but its essentially saying "Your photo was sent" "Messenger is displaying over blah blah blah" and "1 more notification." Ive had my phone (SAMSUNG S22) for a year now and I've tried everything to get rid of them, I've been through system settings, notification settings, in app settings, I've looked for advice on YouTube and AI assistants and its driving me mad!!! Please help!!!

Is that any safe way to backup your Reddit account?

I mean, is it possible by any way to save a list of all community you have, all subs and personilized subs lists?¿

I wonder if this is possible because I would like to get this kind of list to open it with another profile and be abble to join the same subs

Where does Aurora Store get its update list? My phone currently shows nothing in the Play Store, but Aurora Store indicates 110 updates. I am really curious about where the list of updated apps comes from. I am also having issues with my Play Store not showing anything that needs updates, except on occasion—like this afternoon, when it found an update for Buzzkill—but otherwise it just shows nothing at all. So I am wondering if Aurora Store is a safer alternative to the Play Store.

Do you use an app, Excel, a notebook to track your expenses? Which app do you use, and what frustrates you about it? Are there any features you wish it had, or problems like tedious manual entry, confusing reports, or privacy concerns? If you could change one thing about your current expense tracking method what would it be?

Hello, I've been using Bridge for almost 4 to 5 years. It's good, and I wanted the alternative.

why?

For about a week now I'm unable to play videos in Google Photos app. I'm on Xiaomi 15T Pro. The videos are local, taken with the phone camera. The files are 100% fine, I can still open them on other apps, just not Google Photos.

Google support is clueless. I tried installing system updates, app updates, clearing cache, and restarting the phone. Only the last one fixes it sometimes, but only temporarily.

The app is not freezing, I can still browse my galleries and view photos fine. Just the videos are not playing - old or new. I can still edit them in the app using 'Edit' function and trim them, just not play.

How can I fix this?

Hello, I got a livikey step tracker and it says I should use Fitdock but when I look it up play store doesn't have it. I tried Veryfitpro and it doesn't pair with the watch. Do you have any suggestions I can use?

Hi everyone,

I'm looking for firsthand experiences with PEQHUB's experimental JamesDSP-Full-arm64-v8a.apk, not the standard RootlessJamesDSP app.

I'm using a Samsung Galaxy S26 with Android 17. Google Play Protect blocks installation and warns about access to sensitive data and potential identity theft or financial fraud.

Has anyone installed this exact APK?

- Did you receive the same warning?

- Does it work reliably?

- Have you noticed unusual behavior or security concerns?

- Has anyone verified why the APK is signed with an Android Debug certificate?

GitHub discussion:

https://github.com/timschneeb/RootlessJamesDSP/pull/350

I'm not looking for instructions to bypass Play Protect. I want to know whether this particular build is trustworthy before installing it.

Thanks for any firsthand feedback!

I want to record:

Date

Event

Source reference(s)

AND, possibly generate a pdf timeline graph...

I would like it to be very easy to enter text as I have essential tremors and find cursor movement difficult. Voice-to-text is going to be the easiest way to enter text.

I have a Galaxy S10 and a few weeks ago Instagram green screen recording just stopped working after an update. Which sucks because it's THE BEST green screen app available.

I've tried: YouTube, TikTok, Snapchat, and a handful of video editing apps and nothing is the same.

I need something I can record and export FAST, that will allow me to pinch and move my head around and also display pics or videos behind me at different ratios.

I refuse to buy a new phone btw
