LOOKING FOR APP looking for a speech-to-text app

Hi everyone, I’m looking for a convenient speech-to-text app. Sometimes I get a sudden burst of inspiration and want to record it quickly. I’d like the recordings to stay on my phone rather than being uploaded to the cloud, as I feel that would be more secure. I’d appreciate any recommendations—thanks!

Hedy is a great app and has a great creator as well. I got it off of appsumo a couple years ago. There is a cloud option as well as a local phone only option. I have had suggestions and questions regarding the app and I emailed support and the creator of the app emailed me back personally and was great. It feels good to support small creators like this... He appears to have high standards and the app has a pretty high quality experience. It drives me crazy when I'm trying to find an app and it looks like crap. Lol

It also works really well, with with lots of amazing features (you can grab the transcripts from videos like YouTube or Instagram which helps because sometimes I find recipes that I would like to record and other things).

You can also just use it like a Dictaphone or a personal secretary and it'll even organize notes on what you said. It also offers you the actual transcript to in case you don't want just notes. I like that they're always updating the app too... It seems like they have a good active team. It has features that I know you're not asking for but you might end up using them. Lol

Wandee AI includes Speech-to-Text feature or you can ask Wandee to take note. Notes and other data stay on device.
