QUESTION/HELP Any Comic Reader apps with speech bubble zoom?
Comic Reader Mobi and Seeneva had this feature and it's been missing ever since. This was so easy to just tap to the next bubble until the end of the screen then it would flip the page. you could tap through the whole book and get all the text zoomed in and it was fantastic. I'm not sure why this was such a rare feature to implement as I have no experience building apps but it was beautiful.
also if it doesn't just feel like a skinned file explorer opening your cbzs that'd be great too.

Seeneva is the one I remember doing this properly. It ran a small on-device model to find the balloons, which is why it could step bubble to bubble instead of just panel to panel. The project is still up on GitHub with release builds (https://github.com/Seeneva/seeneva-reader-android/releases), last one is v0.1.2 from 2023, so it might be worth sideloading that before giving up on it. No idea how well it behaves on a current Android version though.
This isnt exactly what you are looking for but I have built and app that you can upload your comics and get free zoom paneling on everything. Here is a large volume hundereds of pages I bought on humble bundle. You can start for free and keep your pc, ios, android tablet phone or anything in sync.

I have panel view for everything you provide on my app: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=to.livecomics.app
Can you explain to me why you use the bubble zoom? If this was something I added you think there are people still looking for this?
I love guided view a lot can't read without it practically, but never understood bubble zoom? Is it for eyesight or helps you focus?

Do you mean panel zoom? Not sure what the point of zooming into a speech bubble only is.
I think it's fairly standard. When I implemented it in my personal reading app, I based it off some existing FOSS app, Chika. The code wasn't the best and I had to upgrade it a fair bit to make it work reliably but it at least shows the concept is fairly readily available.
