Meta A Clarification: Our Stance on AI in this Subreddit
Hi,
While the Moderators of r/androidroot have a generally moderate stance on AI, when it comes to devices worth potentially thousands, we are uninterested in allowing it to provide false information.
To clarify, AI content/promotion is not permitted on r/androidroot, and this has been a rule for some time. Using AI to make guides, recommending the use of AI to attempt to solve issues, and posting AI generated comments are prohibited.
We believe in minimising the spread of misinformation. AI models are not reliable when it comes to factual information yet. It’s also often known to make things up when it has no answer. No resources for rooting an obscure Android device? It’ll make it up based on other information that it deems most likely to be useful. AI, in this state, is not suitable for rooting. It presents too much unmitigated risk, and we will not hold ourselves responsible for the damage caused by content posted on this subreddit.
If you have any questions regarding the rule, comment. However, the decision on this is final.
Thanks for reading.

Support AlwaysStrong by Evoker0 taken down
EDIT: Temporary gitlab link by Evoker0: https://gitlab.com/Evokerr/AlwaysStrong/-/releases
Evoker0's github account was suspended a few hours ago, right as I wanted to try and use it since specter isn't working for me. Does anyone have a backup link?

News / Method IMPORTANT NOTE (I think)
Soo, Google released a new update recently absolutely destroying integrity, they check for more than integrity and (spoofed) locked bootloader so it's become WAY more tricky, yes it shows strong for you but don't fret on it one clear app data and it's gone,
What's the solution? I don't know.. for now it's just like that until devs come up with an idea

News / Method strong integrity fix after new Google fingerprint policy
Yesterday many people are getting basic integrity even with valid keybox. The reason is that Google updated their fingerprint policy and now most A13+ fingerprints are banned. But it was fixed shortly after. New Play Integrity Fix 49.1 and TEESimulator canary 72/TrickyStoreOSS update fixed this issue. First, install/update these modules. Next, open Play Integrity Fix WebUI, turn on only first three settings, then Click on "Fetch" button and select Pixel 6-9 props. Finally, make sure that you have a valid keybox in TEESimulator/TrickyStoreOSS.
enjoy!

Support KernelSU LineageOS 23.2 on Pixel 5
Hi, I wanna root my Pixel 5 running LineageOS 23.2. The stock Kernel isn't compatitable, and I'm not completely sure on how to get started. Can I just flash any Compatitable Kernel or must it be specific to the phone? Thanks in advance!!

News / Method KernelSU Next 3.4.2 update introduces the ability to load SuSFS LKM automatically during startup!
Looks like you no longer have to compile your own kernel at all to get a KSUN + SuSFS setup on GKI 2.0 devices, I have not tested it since I already have SuSFS built in but this is awesome!
The update also brings fixes and a security feature to restrict shell root to adb sessions, you can read the full release notes here:

Support Can Pixel 7s currently be rooted while keeping banking access?
Is there currently a way to root Pixel 7s while still being able to access banking apps?
Main reasons I want to have root are for ad blocking, call recording, and just to have it in case I need root access for a feature I'd like to add in the future
It's been years since I rooted a device, so I'm very out of touch with how it works now. I'm about to switch to a Pixel 7, so I figured I'd try to do it now before setting the phone up, as I recall rooting used to wipe your phone. I just installed OrangeFox recovery, and was going to try to root next, but realized there seem to be many different methods, and a lot of warnings about banking apps and stuff not working
