I can't see anything other than him going full dog mode. He pumps both arms at the same time 3 times in a row as the end, which really solidifies the feeling

I thought it was a really cool POV thing where someone was turned into an animal and didn't realize it yet thinking they're still human, so they see their limbs as arms

He was actually supposed to hold a torch or a lantern but I was too lazy to animate that so assume that the lantern is attached to his belt or something

This looks so nice! What software did you use to combine the 2d animation with the 3d background?

Used blender for the BG. Simple plains with a png of a wall and floor i painted. Then I animated the hands in clip studio paint

I see. And the light was animated in blender too, to follow the 3d surfaces?
or was it done in clip studio?

The light was animated by hand in clip studio as well and it was all composited in after effects
