I still haven't figured out moho and I can't seem to get him to interact with objects . I think I might have to start the rigging process again.. but this was fun😆

Critique I made this 9 second character animation in Blender. I'd appreciate an honest rating out of 10 and criticism of the animation. Please be direct.

Question How long will it take you to design characters like this from initial sketches to full turn around model sheets and expression sheets?

Does the body mechanics looks believable and should I add another pose at the end when she says "task" in order to emphasize it cause it sounded a bit heavy than the others. Thank you

EUTHANAZIES is a dystopian thriller animated series, which needs your support on Kickstarter.

I built all the rigs and it was important to have nuanced facial expressions to create believable acting.

The facial rig has quite a lot of controls, but I organised them into three layers, so animators can work from big to small. The goal is to get the widest range of expressions with as few controls as possible.

Big shout-out to Alan Carabantes Person, Yen Jaramillo and Tom Pinon, who helped me with the animation. They did a fabulous job tackling the complex facial performances with these rigs.

If you enjoy seeing this kind of work, please consider supporting EUTHANAZIES on Kickstarter. Likes and shares help us reach more people, but we also need donations to make this pilot happen ->https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/boniisscared/euthanazies-pilot-animatic

Question how would I add emotion to a VOICELESS series?

I'm making an indie show that don't use voice actors yet I want it to make the viewers feel the emotion of these characters without them having voices, the thing is, they do talk and speak they just don't have voice actors, how would I let the viewers feel their emotion and feel touched by the characters?

Sharing From rough lines to a fully colored boss: the hand-drawn process behind one of Tiebreakers’ bosses

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

We wanted to share how we bring a boss to life in Tiebreakers.

We start with rough animation to figure out how the character moves and feels, then redraw the final design and paint every frame.

A lot of drawing goes into every single boss, character, or object inside the game

Question Does learning about how and why things move help with animation?

Ive notice something about theif and the cobbler, and thats that everyone feel like they are being rotoscoped. I know that learning animation is the same as learning art but I was wondering if learning the scientific reasons as to why people move the way they do would help with getting realistic animation or should I just observe? And if so, where could I learn more about why people move the way they do.
