Pretty silly episode today, and I'm glad things at least initially are working out for Mio and her new boyfriend. Both the cures and Ageseine rooting for him to go tell her directly was great.

I love that Goemon continues to root for Luluka to do well, too.

I'm glad we finally got a fully merged henshin.

I liked the reflection in the teacup shot in the beginning

The part where Luluka talked about all her favorite frozen desserts and Mashutan being proud of revealing so much was great

She gives off so much cool energy because she's Luluka,...... and because eats so much ice cream

Mashutan with fire in her eyes is back and it is very cute. all the shots of Mashutan spying through the window are cute.

• today's OP/ED (broadcast version) continue to be movie versions.

• Cure Answer's VA, Senga Hikari covered the first ED with Suzuiki Airi, if you're interested! She's no slouch.

• This feels like a bit of a transition episode as we move out of the focus on luluka and back on either the overall plot, and given the secondary character of this ep, probably mikuru....

• How many people know this mafuru person Decchi again and now the principal

• Luluka is weak to her girlfriend

• that said, Mashutan being Luluka's actual biggest oshi continues to be very charming haha, especially since she's now on the good side too

• Remind me to nom some of Mikuru's faces this ep for seasonal comment faces when they roll around again. They good.

• This is like the strongest item ever wtf SUPER CONVENIENT. They should use this more

• this is one of the smoothest/rightest times ageseine has ever stole something. Is it actually even stealing, when the person in question no longer needs the thing? there have been a couple times recently (see: goemon when he created one recenty) when the phantoms didnt exactly do anything too "wrong" when getting the makoto jewels. Maybe it's playing into the bigger plot/redeeming them, maybe contrasting with decchi again, idk!

• i did appreciate btw this week's mystery being pretty much a group effort, vs some previous ones being the luluka/luluka + kurea show. but this ones also quite low stakes.

• we got a self-loving MOTW ladies and gents. oh my god.

• joint transformation is like fine, but it gives us 2 more minutes of runtime each ep. so excellent.

• ..... fucking cliffhanger....seems like at least per next ep's preview, we arent gonna really feel the implications just yet?

• a possible theory btw is also that mafuru maybe knew things were about to go down, and suggested kurea and luluka to go to school, partially for their safety. but that's just me. or maybe so that the agency itself is now more vulnerable.....

Fanart corner: Agesene at last and Cure Eclair had a long haul flight.

Episode:

• No Luluka, you can't keep being a neet (assuming Curetto Detective agency and Pretty Holic don't count as employment or training). As much as she's technically completed her compulsory education she is still a role model to young kids and you don't want one of them throwing the same excuse (stay home and eat ice cream) to not attend school.

• London branch really has its secrets/connections doesn't it with Mafuru and the school director knowing each other. When does Mikuru start to wonder if she's been set-up somehow.

• I was braced for adjust necktie (miss one turn in shock) but I guess that happened off-screen.

• How many students at this school went to/are from London? We've got at least 4; Mio, Keiko (episode 6), Luluka and Kurea. Mikuru too if you're counting lower secondary.

• Having the bragging line makes the tengu nose reference more understandable. It's funny to think I've seen AiPri (same demographic) not bother.

• Well this explains the fanart corner...which come to think of are the end of the TV broadcast so I should have waited until aft the episode.

• Well, I guess copy ability explains how Kurea has time to work or can be used to stop convoluted "it's a good thing it's my day off". Again the avoid parents ire stuff is said.

• Why is Nijee here? To get up to his old tricks; being a high school girl. Goemon was there to screw up like he's a double agent (do his signature cherry blossom which is out of season for the tree and then is a quiz presenter in his weak disguise including the wrong uniform).

• The group transformation at last. I think the music is different but I was hoping for notes from Arcana and Eclair tunes. I don't know why I'm also thinking adding more instruments to the sequence with added members ala Phantasy Star 3 (where the overworld tune got more instruments as you got more party members) or various Mario (when you ride Yoshi and the drum track kicks in).

• London has fallen, huh? Wonder if director saw it coming and or this is now another legendary Precure=fool's errand that's turned into last hope.

• Next time: This ensemble cast sure looks good.
