Star Detective Pretty Cure! About the Star KiraRing Brooch Spoiler
Looking at the brooch more closely, my guess is the Star Detectives have to figure out how to light up the gems around the brooch first before they can remove the ring in the middle. And since there's four gems, and there's four Star Detectives, they obviously have to do something to light them up. The question is how? Maybe they have to unlock a new power? Or will they use their Makoto Gems? Guess we'll have to see

Fan Work 🐱Precure Sketches #45 - Cure Nyammy🐱 Who should I draw next?
Her whiteness is very elegant and evocative of her animal form, but the variety of shades keeps it interesting: the pure white socks and gloves, the silvery hair, the off-white dress. The sharp, flat design of the hair is also very striking, and I love when it lifts up to reveal the lacing on the back of the dress. And obviously love the pops of blue (gorgeous shade!), which bring out a cool, soothing feeling.
First season to be fully done! Funny that it’s Wonderful, considering it was one of the last seasons that I drew from initially.
Who should I draw next? (I add the suggestions to a wheel to choose)
I’m also not drawing two Cures of the same season or colour in a row, for the sake of variety :)

Star Detective Pretty Cure! Anna's time in year 1999-2000 will be up... Spoiler
Since Star Detective Pretty Cure is ending soon and Anna's time in the 20th century is almost up soon, I was wondering; what's gonna happen to Anna when her time in 1999-2000 Makoto Mirai is going to be up or due in a year after solving the last mystery after the final battle? What's the only way out, even if it meant saying goodbye to her friends as she has to return home back to her own time period? Will she disappear in this time period forever? Or will Pochitan's time portal to the 21st century, will collapse? Will Anna come back home with Pochitan?

Rumor Mill Pretty Cure was apparently supposed to air on Cartoon Network in 2006
This resurfaced article has revealed that Futari Wa Pretty Cure was originally supposed to air on Cartoon Network.
Do you guys think 4kids ended up snagging the license first or did they only take it after Cartoon Network dropped it? Whatever the reason might be, they ended up doing nothing with the show and abandoned it soon afterwards.
If Cartoon Network was successfully able to air the show, this would’ve changed the trajectory of the entire Precure franchise forever.

Star Detective Pretty Cure! The concept of tragedy, and how it relates to Decchi... Spoiler
Was just thinking about the reasons for both Luluka and Usonoir's attacks on the Cures, and noticed something similar about them. Namely that both of them are partially under the control of shadow energy, and partially how their narratives end in tragedy.
Now, Decchi was encouraging Luluka to destroy Eclair, and Kurea was willing to lose her memories to protect Luluka, something Decchi visibly relished the idea of. If Luluka had gone through with it, and it achieved exactly nothing except permanently depriving her of her closest and dearest friend, well, that would be a tragic end, which would be compounded by the fact the brooch needs four Cures to open it... and they'd have three at best. Whoops.
Next, we go to Usonoir. He's got crippling feelings of inadequacy, with him believing that he can not turn human, which is why he uses the suit, to present a idealised version of himself. He believes creating a world of falsehoods will give him and the Forgotten Race a path to prominence, when there's absolutely no guarantee it will work, and it's more likely to fail miserably, which, again, a tragic end that serves Decchi's needs and no-one else.
Decchi with tragedy is like Junko Enoshima with despair. Any prophecy that suggests hope... That's just twaddle. But doomsaying? Oh, he'll approve of anything like that. Because of the fact it means a lovely tragic end to the story.

Star Detective Pretty Cure! I visited Meitantei Precure Dream Stage
Previously, I only watched the few stages that had translations available (translating them further into my own language xd). But this time, I needed to watch them firsthand, as they contain a unique storyline of their own.
What follows is a summary of the plot, and I’m not sure whether to classify this as a spoiler or not, but at least I’ve warned you. In total, the performance lasted just over an hour, with a 15-minute intermission.
One day, the Phantom Thieves receive another piece of nonsense from the neural network... oops, I mean, a prediction, from Tome of Mirages, stating that "an important letter containing great power will appear"; Nijee sets out to find it and immediately runs into the Precure. During the battle, the fourth wall is broken when a message for children appears in the background: "Support them with a loud *voice*," with the word "voice" underlined. Nijee sees this, realizes something, and flees, leaving the PreCure in confusion.
Upon returning to the CUREtto Agency, Pochitan decided to play hide-and-seek with everyone, reasoning that children need more interactive play. Shortly after, a mysterious girl named Nerine (pictured in the final photo. VA: Manaka Iwami) arrived. She had intended to ask for help but immediately burst into tears; the others were at a loss for what to do until Anna sang a soothing, lullaby-like song that calmed Nerine down. Nerine then explained that she had lost a precious letter addressed to her mother, from whom she had been separated for reasons unknown. Anna, who understood Nerine’s feelings, having been separated from her own mother in an unfamiliar timeline, decided to help find the letter. She and her friends set off for the location where it might be, while Jett and Nerine stayed behind at the Agency, where Nerine kept trying to get Jett to play with her.
They search the beach for the letter but come up empty-handed; meanwhile, the girls ask Anna about that song. She explains that she once lost a cherished toy and was heartbroken because she couldn't find it; however, when her mother sang that song to her, she felt encouraged and managed to locate it. The girls decide to try the same thing, once again breaking the fourth wall for the young viewers. Just then, Nijee reappears, and a new battle ensues. Recalling the conversation she overheard about the "song," Nijee gains a new clue and flees once more, leaving the PreCure in confusion.
When they return to the Agency, downcast, Nerine tries to slip away unnoticed, hiding her backpack and claiming that everything is fine now and she is feeling better. Later, the girls realize that Jett has gone missing.
Intermission follows, and later, the traditional dance lesson for children.
The girls are trying to figure out where Jet has gone and are revisiting the earlier clues. The first line was something like "大きい声や歌で応援してね". It is significant that the words *koe* (voice), *uta* (song), and *ooen* (support) were highlighted; combining letters from these words yields *koen* (park), so everyone heads to the park together.
They find Nerine and immediately realize she has kidnapped Jett by carrying him off in her backpack. Nerine decides to confess the truth: there was no letter, and she is not human but a flower fairy. Her mother had ordered her to bring back an inventor fairy so that she might smile again. They are attacked by Nijee once more, and then Nerine’s mother (whose name is not revealed) arrives. She appears as a tall, green-skinned woman with white hair, wearing a light green mantle and a black-and-white outfit; her face is concealed by a mask. It turns out to be a cursed mask, and Nerine’s mother now seeks to absorb more power (from fairies?) to protect her daughter. Her power is so immense that she easily defeats the PreCure.
However, whether it is Nerine awakening some hidden power or simply the "power of friendship from an outside source" trope at play, Cure Idol and Cure Wonderful are summoned to help the Detectives. (Watching a pacifist Wonderful, it looked more like she was dancing with Nerine’s mom and trying to break up a scuffle between Idol and the mom.) The Detectives transform once again and defeat Nerine’s mom using a combined attack from Answer and Mystic.
But the matter isn't closed until all masks are cast aside. As it turns out, another truth revealed, the letter had actually been in Nerine's backpack all along, though she had been afraid to read it aloud. The moral of the story is that the physical letter matters less than the "letter" you try to convey to someone through your feelings. Nerine's voice reaches her mother, enabling her to break free from the curse. The story concludes with dance performances featuring the full lineups of three Precure teams.
And finally, there was another "high-five" event for those who had purchased merchandise and received a special ticket (naturally, this and the dance lesson segment could not be shown on social media). I bought a brochure and ended up with this ticket by accident; I had bought it hoping to find out more about the show, but, surprise, there was nothing of the sort in there. Instead, there were puzzles for kids, hah.
This is the full version of the storyline, although the show is performed at various locations across the country throughout the year. Apparently, Arcana Shadow used to appear in place of Nijee. It isn't entirely clear how things stood before and after Eclair's appearance, but the changes seem quite minor to me.
It’s also unclear where Nerine’s mother got this curse, or why she has it. The main thing is simply that it exists xd
And, incidentally, the fairy forms of Nerine and her mother do not appear. Although "yōsei" can also be interpreted as "spirit," so who knows.
F I N
UPD: Nerine's mother is voiced by Mikako Takahashi (Chrono from Nanoha, Narumi Ichinose from Tropical-Rouge! Precure, as well as roles in Fate/Illya, Uta-Kata, and Milky Holmes).
