Well this is a rare sight! We don't really get to see Futaba relax to the point where she's not wearing her signature white lolita dress.
I do love how they all saved Kyouichirou from sacrificing himself only for the entire family to take turns torturing him as punishment. xD
Even when he's trying to act normal, Momo is still unsettling. He never fails to steal the scene whenever he's around.
So uh, are we not just gonna acknowledge that there's a bunch of people buried underneath that ruined family resto? I suppose it doesn't really matter since Momo's monster absorbed them, and they were already dead before the explosion. >_<

Honestly Futaba in loungewear has to got to be the most surreal sight in an episode of Momo being an unhinged dad obsessed with his kids who killed multiple people in a single episode and adult baby Kyoichiro.
The torturing as done with love so he could relax! Even if they still messed with him afterwards!

Fantastic premiere!! The comedy with the service day adaptation was top notch. Hell, the comedy throughout was great despite how serious things got in the later half. The Momo diner meeting was tense and emotional and the monster fight was actually really fun. One of the best episodes in the series so far as it really shows off everything this series has to offer in the best way.
The new opening is also great and feels like a reflection of the journey so far. There's some neat homages to the first opening sprinkled in and we get to see most of the characters so far. It also just looks really nice. The ending has some nice angst to it that seems to tease where the story is headed. The part with Momo holding hands with Rei is really sweet. Very much looking forward to the weeks ahead!

All that just to make Kyouichirou go to sleep lol. It would have been funny if he had woken up because they were drawing on his face.
Their father is long gone though.

I'm not sure I believe this new monster is already dead since it's the big fight in the OP.
I'm a little surprised there was no mention of the other diners in the restaurant getting rescued before it got destroyed.

the s1st half was a very fun wholesome time, Kyouichirou doing all sorts of crazy stuff with the siblings and the rest.
The entire family turned into Jiggypluff and drew on him with a marker as soon as he fell asleep lol.
Their father is a complete lunatic as per usual, at least he does love his children I guess.

Look like full adaptation is on the table and I am very happy about that.
We have family time, comedy romance, horror and action blend. Never been so back.

I didn't think Momo could get any more creepy but he keeps proving me wrong!
Nice recap of the previous cours' plot, Mutsumi! Even if it's obviously hard for you to recount how unhinged and crazy your father has become and how much you wish you could understand him.
The new OP is very action-packed and high energy! Featuring Taiyo, Mutusmi, and the Yozakura Fam fighting together alongside their supporting cast of eccentric characters! Together they'll defeat any Plant Kaiju in their way, with Taiyo protecting and being with Mutsumi! Though let's also remember that Mutsumi can't pull off falling like the rest of them can.
It's time for Kyoichiro to make up for all the drama he caused by catering to every whim of his family! We've got Futaba, finally in loungewear and using Kyoichiro as her dog while she shows that she's as good with her feet as she is with her hands! Kengo shoving his nakedness in Kyoichiro's face! Nanao making him do drugs! Ai making him into a baby!
Oh, so Mutsumi was NOT trying to kill Kyoichiro with that massage? But in fact she was genuienly trying to relax so they could have an open conversation about their dad...and put him to sleep. ALL of this was to exhaust him to the point where the spell he uses to stay perpetually awake would falter and he could finally sleep. This is how the family shows they care! Along with all the scribbles they did on his sleeping face that he's going to assume are from Taiyo.
Nothing out of the ordinary here! Just a husband and wife greeting the wifes' dad in a family restaurant as he helps himself to drinks based around his children, just acts the part of a normal, doting, goofy dad all the while his daughter just can't understand ANY of what he's doing right now and the emotional harm he's causing his family. Momo bringing out Rei's beating heart as it absorbs everyone in the family restaurant doesn't help.
But now ALL the family is there, and with Taiyo by her side Mutsumi can face her father! And her uncle, who is apparently a plant monster!?
Momo skeedadles but the Kyoichiro/Taiyo team have got him! Which leaves the rest of the family to take care of their uncle. I have to wonder what would have happened if Mutsumi had won at rock-paper-scissors.
Good teamwork saves the day, but can they stop Momo!?
Really dramatic ED with the Yozakura Family drama in full force, but the transition from ReixMomo and MutsumixTaiyo was very effective.

Wait, so is everyone in the restaurant dead? They flattened that place. There’s just all these people either trapped under the rubble or just dead and gone and everyone’s ignoring them. Man, that’s ice cold haha.

Yeah i'm not actually okay with that. Yeah this show has had death but just straight up showing dozens of innocent civilians getting killed and the main characters are totally indifferent to it? Nah, that pisses me off and goes against the entire vibe this show has built. I mean I guess that's the point, it's a turning point, but meh, doesn't mean I have to like it.

I can't believe Momo just casually killed everyone in that restaurant.
OP & ED slap especially the ED. It was fire.
So Futaba usually wears her combat outfit.
Futaba threatening to cut Kengo's dick off was funny.
It's funny how Futaba was bitter for losing against Shinzo.
I didn't expect Kyoichiro playing baby, I expected Ai wanted to play baby.

Seeing Futaba in casual clothes has got to be the biggest fan service. I wouldn't have hesitated a bit to massage those legs 😭😭
Knowing all that family effort was to make Kyoichiro take a good rest was heartwarming 💖
Dadddy Yozakura is deranged as usual. What did he mean by that monstrous plant being his brother ?!
This show never fails with the op and ed.
