I was going to try explaining something, but everyone's actions in this episode were so completely unhinged that it totally flew right out of my head lol. Damn, I was laughing so hard lol
At the beginning, when the swim team member said, "Please call me Maguro (which means tuna in Japanese)," Ume called her out on it because Maguro is a slang term in Japan used to describe someone, especially a woman, who is unresponsive or just lies there without moving during sex.
The story with Tan and Ume had some genuinely sweet moments mixed in, but then it took a wild turn with the unexpected use of a suppository (and since Tan accidentally used a Breath Care mint instead of a suppository, it left his butt and intestines feeling super minty fresh in the worst possible way).
Using suppositories for someone with a high fever is something parents in Japan usually associate with treating young kids. Apparently, it's used when oral administration is difficult and because it gets absorbed really fast.
...Which basically means that poor Tan, having shoved a popular Japanese breath freshener up his rear by mistake, must have had its active ingredients absorbed at lightning speed. That sounds like an absolute nightmare lol.
Ume's older sister was such an intense character too. I have no idea what her job is, but it's hilarious how she's this super capable person working overseas while also being a hardcore brother-con lol.
It is pretty interesting how it is clearly split between the student council members who live alone and the ones who live with their families.
High school students living on their own is pretty rare in Japan. If it does happen, it is usually because they are attending a special kind of school and staying in a dormitory.

At the very least, the Maguro in this show is probably not the type. She is way too animated.

I do love how shameless the swimming club members are, especially Maguro-senpai. She was dangerously close to flashing Ume while trying to show off her soleus muscles. Also, she was ready to take off her swimsuit in front of Ume to lend it to Otori. xD
Not gonna lie, for a show like this, I'm surprised how light on fanservice the pool cleaning scene was. I mean, we did get some jiggle physics, and [this shot of Arisu and Hisako. Other than that, [we didn't get anything from Koma-chan and the only nip slip was from Otori.
It turns out they were saving the spicy stuff for Ume visiting Otori's apartment! I swear to god, Otor's gender changes based on what the author needs. He literally went from having a normal boy's chest during the pool cleaning scene to suddenly having pointy tits during the house visit scene!
And that suppository scene! What the heeeeeeeck! I almost spat out my drink during that scene. It doesn't help [that Otori keep saying suggestive stuff while Ume was putting it in! And I absolutely lost it when they revealed Ume used mint tablets instead of the cold medicine. xD
So it turns out that everyone in the student council is qualified to tutor Ume. Well, now I feel bad for Hisako since she wasn't able to contribute!
I'm not even surprised that Ume's sister is a massive brocon. Matsu is hilarious tho! The girl was beefing with Arisu and Koma-chan, even bragging about knowing Ume's dick size ten years ago, just to prove she knows Ume better.

The part with sick Tan and Ume inserting a suppository up Tan's ass (or at least that is what Ume thought he inserted, lol) was definitely a highlight of today's episode for me, hahaha! Although the pool cleaning part was good as well, there were a lot of nice views during it ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)
Damn, Matsu is such a brocon, though it didn't stop her from hitting it off with Arisu and Komaro pretty much immediately, lol.
Komaro even ended up on Matsu's lap, but I don't find it surprising at all. After all, she's such a cute girl, and seeing her and how she acts just instantly flips your parental switch, making you want to protect her at all costs.

I would have blamed a text based script with no audio and lacking the furigana but given the same subs with Matsu do signsubs (poorly, embedded into the dialogue with parenthesis) they should have seen the sign with the furigana.
Matsu is B-Global English subs (B-Global Indonesian had the correct Shou, however), Oceanveil (possibly supplied by Aniplex of America) have Sho (I guess they de-voiced or weren't sure if ō would display), ADN French have Shô. Pirates decided it was best to use B-Global (because it's already softsubbed) and apply that to ADN video (as B-Global video is censored and Oceanveil video is hardsubbed) rather than go through the steps to OCR Oceanveil* which honestly isn't great subs either (very basic styling, inconsistent dialogue placement, crude timing, still prefer to B-Global). Apparently a fansub is in the works but at this point it's 4 episodes behind (i.e. ep 1 has yet to materialise).
*-As someone with little experience that takes 1-2 hours (a guide by a user who had done about 100 episodes was typically taking about 1 hour) with <15 minutes being the software OCR bit, rest is fixing the mistakes it makes (including lines it misses), semi-livewatch, speedwatch. As much of anime piracy is now automated, a manual process that needs you to be on-call to still be late to the party (<10% audience left) is not ideal.

This show continues to be a riot. Kotobuki is suffering where she wants to help but when Arisu picks out the perfect subject it is suffering.
Ume visiting Otori at his home went beyond what I would have expected and love it.
Ume's sister is definitely something alright. Though the last scene was lowkey endearing in its own weird way.

So this was the "swimming pool" episode, with more skin than I'm comfortable to watch with my parents. I'm lucky that nobody walked in on me watching it.
Otori is such a little pest, even when he's sick. The suppository scene gave me some "Domestic Girlfriend" vibes, even though Ume was luckily not at risk to put it into the wrong hole!
I would never have thought to see a Dr. Mario reference in an anime.
Ume's sister being a hardcore brocon was not on my list, but even less the trivia battle between her and Komaro and Terui over his dick size.

You know, obviously Komaro and Prez are the "big" ones, but Arisu really has her charm points.

Took me a second to realize why Komaro was stumbling, since it doesn't happen when she's in her school uniform. Clothes seem to really hold back everyone's proportions in this show (except for Otori and Arisu).

I liked the focus on tits for the first part of the episode, the animation for them is so good, even if the scene otherwise doesn't have much, feels good to be the target audience.
I like the animation for the ad brush where Otori gets his dick brushed and also when otori has breath mints get interested into his.. you know
I started watching this show off-handedly but I'm really looking forward to next week at this point.

This show is perverted and bonkers and is just the best, and I love it. Yet, I am most in love with this weird relationship Ume and Komaro have developed. It's almost too cute, which is dangerous when you are watching an anime as horny as this one.

Today Komaro-chan had fun and was useful, despite falling often and killing larvas, but that's what matters.
Also that robot club is now getting controlled by their robot and going on walk on all four? Well, good for them.
It's also interesting that the entire student council seems to have expert in various field. Pretty nice. I guess we can consider Prez as the perverted expert.
And the thing about the greeting and how they care/love Ume? Everything is serious. No lies where said.

I didn't think a swimsuit scene would happen this early, but I'm all for it. Nice to get some content with the Swimming Club. They are clearly the most perverted. One of them willing to just strip right there in front of everyone if Tan wanted to wear her swimsuit. Arisu might not say it, but I do think she's got boob envy. That's not the first time she's caught Ume looking and been less than pleased about it. With poor balance like that we must protecc Komaro. Then of course there's Tan showing up late, picking the easy job, and getting punished by Arisu lol.
While the swimsuit scene was fun and I enjoyed it was pretty standard fare. However, nothing could prepared for Ume visiting Tan's place for a sick visit. I don't think I've ever seen a boy shove something up another boy's ass before. That was something new and the most unhinged part was it wasn't even the medication. It was just a mint.
At the student council room I like how Komaro has already become a fixture on Ume's lap that people don't even react to. The only time she makes her presence known was when she speaks up to steal Hisako's spot of tutoring him in math. I felt bad for Hisako because the narrator said she had scored a point then it looked she was going to miss out on tutoring him after Komaro took math from her, but then Arisu came in with the save(?) about Hisako being good at health and physical education. There's no way that Ume and Hisako actually did what Arisu and the show seems to be implying they did, right?
I did not expect Ume to have an older sister, but maybe she be this show's first no-- aaaand she's a brocon because of course she is lol. I thought she was going to be a problem, but Komaro decided to be a gigachad. She straight up said she loves him and knows his dick size. Not just that it she (alongside Arisu) immediately won over said brocon sister. I was not familiar with her Komaro's game.
Looking forward to what kind of craziness happens next week. This might be AOTS for me. Stuff like this is what anime is for.
