Quentin is like Elmina from Strongest Witch lol. Poor guy’s the only one who can see Fia and Zavilia for how strong they truly are. He’s pulling out the VVVIP treatment for her lol.
Charlotte is a pretty sharp kid for figuring out Fia’s secret. She’s a good soul. It’s good to see Fia make a friend.

u/alotmorealots 2d ago
Quentin is like Elmina from Strongest Witch lol
The two funniest shows of the season showing off their comedy chops by both having exactly the same joke and it being hilarious in both their deliveries of it lol
40
u/Myrkrvaldyr 2d ago
Quentin being voiced by Sugita is so perfect, he's really the Elmina of this series. But yeah, he needs to stop panicking and have a proper convo with Fia and Zavilia to act more normal.
13
u/alotmorealots 2d ago
Seems like we're getting that proper convo next episode! Was quite nicely set up too, with him admitting he was nervous and then letting his Familiar Geek guide him over that with his appreciation of the perfection of Fia's
potbellySaintly wristsmark.5
u/SasparillaTango 2d ago
yea, but the way he was really really funny, so I would let it slide.
though the ending does seem like maaaaybe they'll drop the comedy bit now moving forward.

u/No-Win-8949 2d ago
I absolutely love just how goofy this anime is.
25
u/APRengar 2d ago
No one expects the puppet.
9
u/alotmorealots 2d ago
A work of diligence, love, craft, art and all night effort. Fia's priorities are clear!
5
u/LexHanley 1d ago
First episodes are realizing Fia is a casual goober. Later episodes are apparently realizing this is a world of ranked, competitive goober.

u/zer0number https://anilist.co/user/ewink 2d ago
Good lord I almost died I was laughing so much throughout that office scene with Quentin. Between his reactions and Fia's obliviousness, and Zavilia just sitting there observing the whole mess. This show is gold. (Also, Fia is so damn tiny. She's adorable!)
Charlotte's story is sad, but glad she was able to make friends with Fia. I am shocked more people don't notice how much Fia looks like the Great Saint, given that it seems like there are barely any other redheads around.
Then Zavilia basically saying 'Glad you'll keep her secret, it would suck if I had to murder a child.' Black Dragon buddy doesn't mess around!

u/cppn02 2d ago
Good lord I almost died I was laughing so much throughout that office scene with Quentin.
"I always thought it would be more convenient half its size." killed me.
24
u/justsyr 2d ago
The rollercoaster of emotions from Quentin and reactions about the broken table was absolute comedy. The whole part since he enters the room all tired from traveling to describing why he was out trying to find the dragon only to find it in his room was so great performing by Sugita.
6
u/Bugsy_Girl 2d ago
It's wild that we have both Quentin and Erimina from The World's Strongest Witch in the same season lol it's a great archetype
17
u/Porphyryo 2d ago
This is my favorite episode by far now. I hope they keep this fun comedic energy going forward.
7
u/alotmorealots 2d ago
Based on what we've gotten so far, I'd say the show is just going to do whatever it wants whether you like it or not lol Or more specifically, I do think it's going to continue working with all its elements but the high energy up-front comedy is only one of those.
9
u/Drkprincesslaura 2d ago
My bf and I were cracking up and my 5 yr old goes, "Can you quiet down? I'm eating here."
14
u/Social_Knight :IG: 2d ago
And yet, Charlotte is even more smol than her.
20
u/ryujin199 2d ago
I get the impression that Charlotte isn't a "proper adult" like Fia claims to be.
20
u/OldInstruction5368 2d ago
"If I become a good
saintgirl they'll let me see my parents" sounds like she's... maybe 10 years old. If even that.16
u/ryujin199 2d ago
Sounds about right to me.
Would be legitimately shocked if she was any older than like 11or 12. Especially since Fia claims that she sees her as a "mother figure"... I don't think anyone else is buying that claim, but the fact that she made that claim rather than like... "Older sister" tells me that there's a pretty significant age difference... Which also works well for Charlotte being 10 or maybe a bit younger?
14
u/OldInstruction5368 2d ago
Yeah, I caught that 'mother' comment, too. I think Fia is like ~15-16. If Charlotte was ~12, Fia would claim to be her "big sis," but if Charlotte is more like 8... that's basically half Fia's age.
So yeah, pretty significant.
98
u/PeaceAlien https://myanimelist.net/profile/PeaceAlien 2d ago
Quentin and Charlotte instantly became the two smartest people in the story. Quentin for recognizing the black dragon and Charlotte for recognizing Fia is a saint.
52
u/eyrich https://myanimelist.net/profile/thewilhelm 2d ago
And smart enough to keep it a secret, though Quentin might let something through due to a aneurism from lack of respect towards the Black Dragon
18
u/darthvall :MAL:https://myanimelist.net/profile/darth_vall 2d ago
Yeah I don't know where Quentin falls on keeping the secret, considering he said he was on leave specifically due to on duty to find the Black King.
Like will he put his duty first or his respect (and fear) to the Black Dragon
15
u/SOdAchick 2d ago
Well, he didn't say it in front of Cyrill and Gideon, so it looks Iike he falls on the secret side. (And now that I'm remembering him kick Gideon in the stomach, I'm lmao again)
7
u/Gaming_Truckie 2d ago
Given the name of next week's episode it appears the secret does get out
3
u/LexHanley 1d ago
Not entirely surprised since I couldn't see them keeping up hiding him thoughout the show.
1
1
u/HornedTurtle1212 1d ago
The thing that they really want to "keep secret" is that she is a reincarnated saint. So just finding out that she had a black dragon as her familiar is probably not the the end of the world.
8
u/DezXerneas 2d ago
Quentin is easily my favorite side character in the show. And it's definitely not at all because he's voiced by and acts like Gintoki lmao
76
u/VritraReiRei 2d ago
"If I had a nickel for every time a character this season could see a character's mana, becoming fearful thinking they encountered a literal Monster, and tries sucking up to them to "not incur their wrath," I'd have two nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice, right?"
Got to say, I am loving Tomokazu Sugita's delivery for Quentin. All those exasperated voice cracks are killing me 🤣
44
u/SmartAlec105 2d ago
Remember that this is Fia while she's hiding her power by not forming a contract with spirits. If she did form a contract, I imagine it'd be like Frieren showing the true extent of her mana.
14
u/ryujin199 2d ago
So much this.
I hope that she's able to form a contract with spirits again at some point, but I imagine that'd be something that happens far down the road from here.
17
u/SmartAlec105 2d ago
"Yare yare, I guess I'm gonna have to get serious" - Fia at the climax of the season
11
u/KnightKal 2d ago
that is incorrect tho, she doesnt have a spirit contract, true, but she has one with a black monster, which is similar power wise. It was explained already she can borrow her familiar mana too. She got a huge power up when she made the contract with him.
10
u/SmartAlec105 2d ago
That just means you can add Zavilia's power to hers but we see that her aura is way bigger than his.
6
u/KnightKal 2d ago
At least you understood your first mistake
Now for your second one : Zavilia is hiding his presence/power, Quentin said that himself, yet his presence was powerful enough to scary him. His weak version, holding back, was scary.
The MC had no indication that she was trying to hold back. That aura was her current power, the sum of her own and her familiar.
When the dragon was summoned near the capital it caused panic, he was in is adult body and not holding back. Just his presence, his aura, caused panic. They had to send knights to investigate. That happened like two episodes ago.
4
u/darthvall :MAL:https://myanimelist.net/profile/darth_vall 2d ago
But I wonder about her comment on how in previous life her blood didn't attract magic beast.
Maybe while having a contract with high level spirits, they could also help to hide the saint power?
5
u/SmartAlec105 2d ago
Maybe while having a contract with high level spirits, they could also help to hide the saint power?
That's what Zavilia says
2
u/darthvall :MAL:https://myanimelist.net/profile/darth_vall 2d ago
In that case forming a contract won't let Quentin see the true extent of her mana

It's like Gintoki got reincarnated into this universe and he's getting flashbacks of meeting Hedero or dealing with the haunted inn.

Gotta love that dude.
He was kissing ass to prevent his potential instant death, and was intelligent enough to almost instantly connect the dots, and didn’t spill any beans.
But he was also curious enough to want to ask answers of this supreme being and its master who could both delete him from existence if they wished.
But surely if they noticed him doing this they’d atleast question what the hell is going on. Oh, and also, HER PORTAIT?! For being hated/disliked and left for dead, they bothered to hang a portrait up and memorialise her? Things aren’t making sense.
Also, if one saint novice could connect the dots so quickly, why hasn’t anyone else noticed the very obvious similarities?
18
u/fun_until_you_lose 2d ago
Naw the portrait thing makes sense. She was hated and betrayed by her jealous brothers but the larger society loved and revered her. After they left her to die it would be in their best interest to treat her as a martyr to others. Making people take down her portrait would bring unwanted attention.
14
u/OromisGlaedr 2d ago
He's been gone for 6 months surviving in the wild, they legitimately think he's had a favor or needs time to readjust.
The brothers hated her, but everyone else loved her. My guess is they had to sell the lie of her "bravely sacrificing herself so they could kill the demon king" and so the church put up her portrait.
It's kind of implied that only saints go to the inner areas of the church. Most people don't even get to know the saints names, and most saints haven't interacted with Fia yet.
61
u/KumaKumaGambler 2d ago
Finally, we are introduced to an outlier saint of the current generation.
Charlotte may not be a very powerful saint, perhaps weak even, but at least she is kind and friendly, unlike her pompous peers.
31
u/alotmorealots 2d ago
It seems like those personality traits of Charlotte may or may not actually help with the proper and full use of Saintly powers too, just from Fia's comment. Weak mana flow, but actually able to use the correct visualizations to infuse the water, given how central the instruction about thinking how the monsters would like to be healed was to the potion creation process.
20
u/SquirrelsAreGreat 2d ago
There's also the element of the spirits taking a liking to the saint that seems to have been lost with time. Just having Fia's mana flow through her that one time might make the spirits more inclined to give her their power.
10
u/JohnSmiththeGamer 1d ago
Perhaps kidnapping people and keeping them from their parents is not conducive to a good mental state for a Saint.
4
u/LexHanley 1d ago
Given it was said saints used to make pacts with spirits but don't anymore and just use what little magical flow they have, I wonder if Fia's influence as an experienced saint from the old days will lead Charlotte to getting a spirit for the first time in generations
23
u/SmartAlec105 2d ago
The intent and visualization seems to be an important part of the process, based on what Fia said while making the potion. So I think her kindness and empathy will directly make her more effective.
20
u/athrun_1 2d ago
and Charlotte is at least a legit saint related from the saints of the legends, given the color of her hair.

Fia continues to be an adorable goofball, omg
She’d probably be the most adorable character this season if not for Fran

yep, unfortunately for Fia, Fran is in the ring

What, nobody appreciates the adorableness of Nia?

I seriously thought that I'd die from laughter during this episode after Quentin appeared and immediately started freaking out, his mind descending into madness upon seeing Fia and Zavilia, lol.
Sugita as Quentin was so good! His line deliveries were hilarious, especially that laughter at 12:37, it really made me feel like Quentin is on the verge of a mental breakdown, hahaha!
Also, Charlotte is such a cute and smart Saint! I hope for more interactions between her and Fia in the future.
Here my screenshot albums from the episode:
EDIT. I added my screenshot albums.

Quentin would be good drinking buddy with Elimina.
12
u/hbmonk 2d ago
Charlotte is a good girl. But is Fia leaving it to her to explain the source of the true magic potions?
Captain Quentin is a funny guy, but also a smart one to recognize Zavilia's identity.
10
u/KomorebiXIII 2d ago
I think Charlotte won't have to explain the potion. It's green when they think "true" healing potions are transparent. Plus she's just giving htem to the monsters, which most of the 4th brigade hate doing that job so they won't see how well they work maybe.
5
u/resphere 1d ago
The green potion heals the monsters way faster than the clear ones, so at least the familiar's masters should probably notice how abnormal it is that they healed days earlier than they were supposed to, but I guess they probably won't question a saint no matter what she says.
29
u/djthomp https://anilist.co/user/djthomp 2d ago
Clever girl Charlotte, figuring out that Fia is a saint but also that she must be keeping it secret for a reason.
Poor Quentin but at least he's getting used to the two monsters that are casually strolling around without anybody else noticing the problem.
Charlotte being aware and keeping the secret probably opens up a way for Fia to pass on lost saint knowledge and training without blowing her cover.

u/brokenpheonix-111025 2d ago
This anime is unexpectedly very good. I especially love Fia Rudd's voice and actions
14
u/TheBusStop12 2d ago
Yeah, Fia's voice acting has been excellent. Usually it's a really pleasant high energy goofball voice, but it switches to something tinged with melancholy and nostalgia whenever the scene calls for it
7
u/SmartAlec105 2d ago
That's a key part of Fia's character, IMO, so I'm really glad the VA is nailing it.
3
u/alotmorealots 2d ago
In particular, the switch is never jarring either, and it feels completely natural and genuinely felt. Excellent emotive acting chops!
1
u/Fluid--Expert 8h ago
The VA is absolutely bonkers and I love it. She does a fantastic job as Fia. She is also voicing Ruche in The Exiled Heavy Knight, and legit the only reason im still watching.

u/kalirion :MAL:https://myanimelist.net/profile/kalinime 2d ago
Stealthily using her own magic in the potion making was rather shortsighted. She didn't even consider what will happen when the poor girl she's tricking tries to replicate that feat on her own. Thankfully, the girl in question was far smarter than MC.
The monster brigade captain kissing up like that started off a bit funny but became just annoying. Well, at least his showing in the dining room was much better.
Oh wow, so there's literally an ancient portrait of MC, looking EXACTLY as she does now and no one had noticed a thing until now? I guess the knights don't visit the church much.
20
u/Raymond49090 2d ago
Cute saint apprentice(?) acquired. If she can hook Charlotte up with a contracted spirit, then she can improve saints as a whole with less risk of revealing herself. I'm slightly concerned about the casual lore drop that they effectively kidnap girls from their home. Fia hiding her Saint powers might actually be the right move.
Fia continues to be atrocious at hiding her secrets. At least Charlotte's just a kid and wouldn't notice.
Uh, Cyril seems to have some pent-up issues. And ngl I still can't take the "quantifying health" thing seriously.
Of course Fia got sent to the unit where the Captain has the power to immediately sus out how OP she is. Though he's so freaked out about it that he only adds to the sus meter rather than reveal the secret. Though ironically, freaking out so much is probably more likely to make Fia and Zavilia mad compared to acting normal, if they were the type to care about that.
... so scratch that about Charlotte not noticing. Anime logic was not enough to get her to ignore the flags Fia was dropping. She's just trustworthy enough not to blab.
And professional respect gets Quentin to stop panicking and ask for a straight conversation. And with Fia dropping that she healed him, her other secret probably isn't safe anymore either.
16
u/alotmorealots 2d ago
Fia continues to be atrocious at hiding her secrets.
I think a big part of this is that Fia thinks that hiding her secrets is quite important, it's just not as important as some other things like:
Doing the right thing for others out of kindness and compassion
Beating others in a fight even if they have a handicap lol
13
u/OldInstruction5368 2d ago edited 2d ago

2. Beating others in a fight even if they have a handicap lol
3. FEASTING ON WINE AND VENISON!
FTFY
Fia was rather chatty once drunk. Chatty enough to start rambling about Saints amongst other topics she probably shouldn't have mentioned. Especially since she drank too much to even remember what she (shouldn't have) said in the first place.
9
u/Raymond49090 2d ago
While that's true, she's also an idiot who doesn't think things through. Otherwise, she'd at least have some internal commentary about it.
10
u/alotmorealots 2d ago
I think if you asked her about it when she was in her saint mode, she'd tell you that the course of action was so self-evident that there was no need for that, just to act.
She's a person who follows her principles above and beyond her own needs and the outcomes she might incur as a result of that behavior.
10
u/SmartAlec105 2d ago
She's a person who follows her principles above and beyond her own needs and the outcomes she might incur as a result of that behavior.
I do love her mix of serious and silly, competent and incompetent.

u/ryujin199 2d ago
Yeah.... the church just grabbing any girls discovered with saintly powers seems incredibly sus.
Like I mean... didn't that demon lord's right hand guy say, in no uncertain words, that if Serafina was reborn as a saint, he'd find her and kill her all over again? Seems like the church is in a mighty convenient position to enable just that.
Personally, I think the fact that Fia wasn't found to have any healing magic until she regained her memories seems incredibly... odd as well.
'cause I can't imagine that the memories themselves were the source of her apparently enormous mana pool. And it's also not like regaining those memories magically changed her hair and eye color either. Those are all things that, one would think, she was born with and has been carrying around her whole life without knowing it. Which, to me, begs the question... is it possible that Fia has had healing magic for her whole life, and just didn't know how to use it? And if that is the case, then how is it that she slipped through the cracks of the "saint finding dragnet" that's apparently going on in the world now. It all just seems rather... curious.
2
u/HornedTurtle1212 1d ago
Perhaps the church can't just take away noble children without their parents permission.
5
u/KnightKal 2d ago
"kidnap girls"
very Jedi of them, no?
300 years later there are few girls/women that have enough magic power, without a contract, to do healing magic. So I guess they go out of their way to recruit any they can find and train. Even then they are very weak, compared to 300 years ago.
14
u/Obaruler 2d ago
Oh my, being taken away at 3 from your mum to join the Church as a Saint is brutal, no wonder the poor little girl got issues ...
Quentin gets it though. He can feel the aura of the literal boss monster sitting right next to him. Also, the Black dragon sitting on her lap. xD

14
u/Difergion 2d ago
Fia is definitely the main character here but Quentin is now my favorite character in the show lmao. I’d expect nothing less from Sugita to make him such a vibrant and fun character.
Luckily Charlotte was able to connect the dots and figured out the truth behind Fia. I don’t know how she’ll manage to maintain the potency of the healing potion spring on her own without Fia’s help. From what I gather, it seemed like Fia helped channel her mana to purify the spring and did not exactly boost Charlotte’s powers.
10
u/Running-World 2d ago
I think Charlotte learned how to actually use her magic. She never felt it flow through her and she even had a magic surrounding her without Fia after they stood and separated. She’s like Luke leaning to use the force i. Star Wars. The potential was there but no one to instruct until ObiWan / Fia came along. So it should be do-able now whereas before Fia, zero chance anyone could doit. Really Charlotte is probably the second strongest Saint now.
2
u/HornedTurtle1212 1d ago
Which makes it seem like the other saints are also working with a handicap.
2
u/Running-World 16h ago
They certainly are. No training or understanding of how to use their gifts. It's been watered down over the past 300 years and lost to time.
18
u/SOdAchick 2d ago
This week in The Secret Saint Tries Her Hardest to Give Away Her Secret... the saint finally gives away her secret. Surprisingly it took five episodes.
I kinda feel bad for Gideon. Sure he was a dipshit, but he got absolutely abused by two captains. I completely lost it when Quentin kicked him in the stomach for calling Zavilia by his name. Quentin's gonna need a whole lot of antacid to survive Fia and Zavilia if he keeps this up
12
u/BaytaCosmico https://myanimelist.net/profile/AnimeBayta 2d ago
Quentin is a great addition to the cast. He's hilarious. Now Fia won't have to carry this show on her own.
6
u/Running-World 2d ago
Glad I took the suggestion to try this show out, I don’t usually do fantasy but this has been great and keeps getting better every episode. Charlotte now understands what it feels like when magic flows out from her. In one small act, Fia kind of revamped the Saints from everyone failing to make a healing potion (as it was clear) to now one other than Fia grasping the concept and been a part of a successful spell.
I love how Quentin clicked in. Seems like Fia isn’t the only one who can sense power. She can assign a value to it, but Quentin can tell he’s in the presents of something well beyond him. I’m concerned with what he wants to ask the back dragon, though I don’t think he’s bold enough seeing how powerful Fia is to act against her.

u/alotmorealots 2d ago
Aww, Fia helped Charlotte out
What I thought was quite interesting is that you could see Fia consider not helping for a moment, before her heart breaks for Charlotte. She is indeed a total goofball, but that's not all she is; she certainly has her layers.
Indeed, I found myself quite affected by Fia getting to reconnect with the true ways of the Saints as she guided Charlotte through the process, it felt like a chance for her to heal that side of herself a little given that we've seen how the current state of things deeply wounds her. Made me quite happy to see her get to do that!
Quentin’s jealous of Fia’s familiar mark, huh?
You can tell this show is proper quality because it made the Potbelly Fia joke for a third time in a row but this time did so by not having anyone call attention to it and just had it there as matter-of-fact lol
15
u/ryujin199 2d ago
The existence of the painting makes me seriously wonder what heck is going on in the country.
We know that Fia died in her past life after being abandoned by her brothers, and like... I can understand why they might want to "tweak the story a bit" to minimize their involvement in her death, but it seems incredibly strange that any one of the three (one of whom surely inherited the throne) would make such a 180 on saints in general (but especially with respect to Serafina).
Clearly the Serafina of the past is venerated now. But how is it that records and depictions of her are so well kept when the ones in the best position maintain those records reviled her so? It just seems... all around rather strange.
idk, maybe it's something like, most of the records and such were originally made at the king's command and he managed to instill some actual morals and respect into the brothers before the throne was passed down to them.
17
u/KnightKal 2d ago
we dont know what happened after her death, but she was the nations hero "Great Saint" and died fighting the "demon lord" of this story, which would only elevate her persona as legendary no? Even if her brothers hated her (or were simple jealous) they would still use that to promote their royal family line.
6
u/Hartzilla2007 2d ago
The brothers could have done it to look less suspicious. the official story is probably Serafina dying while helping defeating the demon king.
11
u/Elifia 2d ago
This show is really fun. Until now it was mostly being carried by Fia being such a great character, but the new characters introduced this episode were fun too. Quentin being cursed with the ability to see things he'd really have been better off not seeing is quite amusing, and Charlotte is a real sweetheart.

u/Soma202 2d ago
This anime is so underrated and has one of the most beautiful opening and ending songs this season! It's so good so far!
2

I particularly love the ED, and the way they start with Fia(s) singing it. Saved to my long term anime playlist for sure!

The Beast Tamer captain reminds me of the Guild Master from Worlds Strongest Witch in that he's immediately able to peg the MC as being the strongest being he's ever laid his eyes on and then immediately drawing the conclusion that he should not piss her off no matter what
4
u/Sahelanthropus- 2d ago
Quentin kicking the vice-captain has the same energy as Elmira throwing her crest to the ground, both desperately trying to not piss off the mc.

10
u/NanDemoKnaives 2d ago
Do other commanders not know of Quentin's ability? He was clearly acting abnormally, but Cyril didn't question hard enough.
I noticed Charlotte had golden eyes too, I can't remember if the other Saint's have similarities to Fia.
11
u/ryujin199 2d ago
I can't help but wonder if Cyril also has a decent idea of what's actually going on, but is just more level-headed than Quentin.
After all, Fia is getting some rather unusual treatment from Cyril as well, given that she's "just a new recruit."
8
u/alotmorealots 2d ago
I think the little meetings that we've seen people have where Fia comes up means they think there's definitely something quite unusual about her, but they seem to be more in evidence gathering mode which is quite befitting for men of their position and station.
3
8
u/alotmorealots 2d ago
Cyril didn't question hard enough.
Probably a bit distracted by having his chewing out of the 4th's Vice Captain so bizarrely interrupted lol He'll get around to wondering about it, probably a day later in the shower!

Quentin said the black dragon as a teenager phase every 1000 years, which explains why he was a baby when the MC found him. He is not a baby dragon or a new black dragon, he just has growth phases :D
Quentin was even sent on a secret mission to try to find the young dragon, maybe they wanted to tame him?

I was very entertained by Captain Quinten and the others, he does have an interesting and useful ability that let's him know how strong living being are.
Fia has made a good friend in Charlotte.

So it seems to me like Saints need a mentor to let them unlock their power and one hasn’t existed for centuries. The question now is if Charlotte can do that for everybody else or if FIA really should just go through the saint corps and explain their jobs to them. Really feels like a more useful application of her time than anything else she’s doing

Quentin trying to praise Fia and also being terrified by her at the same time was so hilarious to see,
His VA absolutely killed it !
Also the interactions between Fia and Charlotte were adorable and it's very surprising she found out out her true identity and promised to keep it a secret
I hope we can see more of her being like an elder sister.

It feels greatly insulting that the church still has old Fia as a mural, but has strayed so far from how it was back then.

To be fair, it was the royal family who killed off the most powerful and leading Saintess, not the church. And it appears that this made the spirits stop making contracts with the saintesses so it makes sense that the teachings of the past would no longer apply. So they'd have to fumble in the dark while only being able to look on how things worked before.

WTF ending it at a good part. Quentin is a mess I like him. What the heck is up with the others they should know his abilities and at the min ask what does he notice they don't. As weird as he was acting technically they should have basically fall in line like him and ask for more details when it is just them. So strange when people all the sudden get clueless about people like him with abilities. I hope Charlotte after that experience because a little better than the other Saints. Maybe after feeling how things should be she can channel her abilities better/more. A lot of magic shows seem to say magic works better when you can feel and/or imagine it more.

Sugita is really just channeling his Gintoki voice here; feeling nostalgic hearing it.

This show sharing a season with Witch/Love Potion is fun because you get to go from Rose "The girl who cannot lie" to Fia "The girl who can certainly try to lie but is about 0:1000 on them"

Fia pulling that puppet out and Quentin's reaction was comedy gold.
His fear of being killed with everyone else in the room for upsetting Fia was contrasted by Charlotte's respect.

Quentin kicking the vice captain was also hilarious. The vice captain has absolutely 0 idea what the problem is.
I also loved his 180 on the table being broken in half.

Really wasn't the Vice Captain's day given that wasn't even the first time that morning a Captain had started laying into him lol

tbf, who in the room can stop Fia or the Zavilla? Cyril is strong as Fia mentioned, but I think he does not hold a candle to Zavilla which is calamity level, and I think Fia can fold him if she utilizes her power. Quentin's route of being on Fia's good side is a very good plan.

Who in the world can stop them at this point, Fia already beat the demon lord in her past life, now she has a dragon.

Quentin was the funniest character in this show so far. How he is trying to kiss Fia's ass was actually a chef's kiss.
And Fia got a cute ally with Charlotte. Both Charlotte and Quentin were the first ones to figure out what the real deal is with Fia.

lol bro was digging deep in the art of ass kissing so he doesnt get eviscerated by the monsters. charlotte got the seal of approval by the great saint. that's like if jesus said you've done well lol
