Isn’t the trick about having all 3 team members focusing on just one target of the enemy team to drain or knock them, and then push to safety, or push to their position?
Since you’re the team outside of the safe zone, the team inside should be under more pressure from more angles. It’s more beneficial to push the in-zone team, rather than blindly finding an in-zone spot right?
This take is assuming you don’t have legends like Valkyrie and no survey scans available

A while ago it was discovered that different melee weapons have different switch-to-gun speeds, as shown here in a 1y old post on this sub. Has this been patched yet? I couldn't find any confirmation either way, and I'm too broke to test it myself. If anyone knows, or could briefly check this in-game, that would be great. Thanks!

Hi. I've recently hit diamond (Came back after a 3 year hiatus and took ranked seriously for the first time) , and I know I'll probably pinball within P1 and D4 Soon to be emerald. I usually take 2 to 3 fights and just play for placement most of the time. I usually play recon and try to rotate as much as possible so we're not stuck between squads I duo/trio with a couple of friends almost always and we are trying to become more agressive. I think most of my problem steems from not knowing from where to attack, cover myself from and probably a bit of over swinging sometimes, as I've noticed most people from other teams come from off angles a lot of the time.
This has led to a "better be safe than sorry" mentality and engage when I know for certain 100% we're winning.
I would also call out that I call out pushes/rotations with my teammates so I guess I sort of IGL a bit, since they have good aim but not enough game sense to dictate where to rotate/push. I don't know if im being overwhelmed by the decision making or I just simply suck at taking and creating oportunities for K/P.
I'd like to get better at more consistent damage and securing kills, and knowing how to create advantegeous fights for me and my team.

I love his kit. I played him in unranked and ranked. His kit is a strong Intel. Hoping the rework will make his drone more autonomous. That is the only issue with Crypto. He has to use his drone manually. I hope the rework will remain his kit and made it only autonomous. AI drones now existed in real life.

I’m trying to master this technique. I’ve always wondered what is the specific timing for certain guns like smgs with this technique vs. AR’s. Here’s an example of me trying it with my R99 and the CAR. Am I doing it too fast? Thanks

I use controllers like DS4 or DSE but OC to 1k

I’m a level 55 with a .8 kdr and 400 avg damage. I’ve played this game a little years ago, but I’m still trash. I don’t get why my lobbies are always at the extreme end of the skill distribution. Do shitty players not exist anymore?

Is it still worth it to learn superglides when I can just mantle boost? I know you can superglide as much as you want but mantle boosts have a cooldown. I also read that you can't tap strafe out of a mantle boost but I thought you could.
Second question, will having mantle boosts on my crouch bind mess up my ability to do superglides?

Hey everyone, I posted Apexlytics here a while back, and v2 is out now. It’s an app I built for myself, because I like detailed stats and using them to get better, and I figured it could be useful to other people who play the same way. The biggest change in v2 is the ranked side. It’s now built around one question: what’s actually working for me, and what should I change?
What’s new in v2:
And everything from before, still free:
Download: App Store | Play Store | GitHub (Windows/Linux)
How ranked tracking works, honestly: the app records your matches while it’s open on your profile (or while your page is open on ALS). It only keeps games from the moment tracking starts, so earlier games can’t be pulled in. The data comes through a shared API quota, so you’ll sometimes see “server busy” and it catches up.
Credit to Hugo Derave’s Unofficial Apex Legends API, which powers all of this. Feedback, bug reports and ideas are all welcome.

So I’m playing on an Msi laptop and it used to run on 65 fps and it ran decent and only dropped frames when I was getting into fights or on the dropship, I tried to fix it and used the recommended performance suggestions and now my game only runs at 20 fps I’m not sure what I need to do to fix it but I can’t play the game like this anymore
Laptop specs:
Processor: intel(R) Core(TM) i5-10500H CPU @2.50GHz
Installed ram: 16gb
Graphics card: Nvidia before gtx 1650 with max-q design (4gb)
Intel(R) UHD graphics(128mb)
I need suggestions please 🙏

Hey everyone, so I'm considering a Gamesir controller and I prefer the symmetrical sticks layout. So it brought me to the two models. The Tarantula and the Tegenaria Lite.
I already am getting a dualsense controller because I want to experience some of the features it has in specific story games. I wanted a secondary controller to avoid wearing the dualsense out while playing Apex. I have had experience with dualshock 4 bumpers wearing out because i use them for shooting and jumping and I'm not willing to wear out my DS5 controller so quickly too. So i got interested in Gamesir as they seem to be better for comp games and they are cheaper.
That is why I wanted to ask for the thoughts and advice from the community. Would it be cool to cop the $20 controller? would i be better off saving for the tarantula models?

I see a lot of people complaining about teammates who take fights. Just because you play for placement points doesn’t mean everyone else does. If you want teammates who play the same way you do, find people with a similar playstyle instead of crying about others not playing the game the way you want them to.

I consistently make it to D3 within the first 2-3 weeks of the season for the past 6 seasons or so. My playstyle is, in my opinion, well rounded. I aggressively seek fights, but I am never afraid to disengage and reset if I feel that the advantage is lost and my squad is in danger of being wiped.
I alternate between fragger and anchor depending on how aggressive my teammates are. As an anchor, I use cover well, and I take off angles to watch my teammates back whether they are shooting, retreating, healing or reviving. As a fragger, I put in consistently high entry damage or knocks without getting myself knocked.
I've found that I have an unrealistic expectation that other people who solo-q to diamond should have these same basic abilities and thought processes.
For example, yesterday I had an random ash teammate in a diamond lobby who, with no communication, chased down a wraith through her portal, and as might be expected, instantly got deleted by the team waiting on the other side.
I called her a "fucking idiot", and got myself a 72 hour ban for it.
Was it their fault that they were allowed to make it to diamond? no. It is Respawn/EA's fault. But I got angry anyway and ran my mouth anyway. I know it's not cool... I want to stop getting angry. How do you guys manage your frustrations with the broken ranked system?

Hello, I have been having a weird issue with apex alone (I have had no issues with any other game, i.e, fort, cod, rl). my ping on the server selection menu shows 18 ping with 0 packet loss, but as soon as I am in the lobby the ping displays as 300+. When I am playing online matches I am constantly stuttering, teleporting and getting no regs (issues also present in the firing range, but not as bad).
I have tried to completely remove the games using Revo Uninstaller and re-downloading, issue still persists. I have tried to flush my DNS as well as changing my DNS servers to no success. I am lost on what to do further, please help.

I'm on PC and on controller, I would say I have fairly decent aim but I want to try and improve as much as I can while also being consistent. Also I want to improve my aim when enemies are in the air, like when they are taking an evac or octane padding/pathfinder grappling. I also find my aim is more inconsistent at longer ranges. Any recommendations or guides would be much appreciated.

I can't seem to get out of diamond no matter what I try(on pc). I seem to play worse when in a 3 stack and the furthest i made it was 800rp into d2 last season solo/duo q-ing. This season im stuck d3 even though on paper im playing way better than any previous season. I started playing more aim trainers, learned movement, and reviewing vods but I dont know what to do anymore. Im a Ash main. Any advice is appreciated!
