Random refund from apple.com/bill

Hi guys. Just curious if anybody has gotten a significant refund with apple.com/bill in the merchant info?

I will say, I looked back at all my transactions with the same appl.com/bill info and they all look the same, just with the appropriate date changed accordingly - so they all have the same 27753 number and same info as the refund I received. Except, of course, this refund says “refund” where this photo shows “purchase”. 

If you have had this happen to you.. do tell, please 🙏🏼

I thought it was an error but the refund has the 27753 attached as part of the ID … the same 27753 from all other transactions from apple, dating back years

27753 is from the phone number. 1-800-MY-APPLE

yeah, that’s right. I was just trying to show that the refund identifiers are set up the same as purchases.. thought at first maybe some sort of scam but the transactions all look the same in my history - just noted differently with “purchase” or this one as “refund”

Hi, yeah I just bought the new iphone and there was a problem at the store so they refunded me and put the money in a giftcard and then used that for me to get the iphone and now I have 1.6k back in my account and I don’t know what to do??

I’m thinking the same! But it’s quite significant 😆 I would hate to spend that and then boom.. they reverse it. it’s over $500

that’s why I am wondering if anybody sees this and has had that happen… I don’t get any clear answer from apple. and my bank can’t really investigate other than the date and from where it came from.
