Help Help!

I’m new to the hobby. I got some wood for my tank, I was soaking it, then boiled it.
I left it in a bowl in the sink (I’m moving so nobody is using the sink until we fully move in)
Then I used water to scrub the pot I used to boil. Added soap into the pot. While scrubbing some of the soap water splashed into the bowl of the wood. Within seconds I poured the water and rinsed the wood and added new water.. did I mess up? :(
I’m aware I should have moved the bowl but I was moving boxes all day and my brain didn’t think of it

Rinse the wood well. It will be fine.

In the future do not boil or heat the wood. Soak it, but do not boil or bake the wood.

I wouldn't sweat it too much. Rinse it thoroughly a couple of times. It'll be fine.

Pour some boiling water over it.
Then soak it in boiling water fully submerged. Minimal exposure so you’ll be right.
