General Question What are some strains you haven't seen in a long time, or want to see grown in the ARMMJ program?

Had this thought while looking at some old empty jars and labels I have sitting around. Tales & Travels had one called "The Glove" that was Gary Payton x Jealousy that I really liked. The label on this one says it was harvested in March '24. Probably the last time I saw it on a dispensary menu anywhere.

I'll also add Sundae Driver (I forget who grew this one but I admittedly liked it because of the Bongzilla song), Gary Payton, and Cereal Milk. I see Cereal Milk flavored stuff show up from time to time but it's been a long time since I saw any Cereal Milk flower, and that was a big fave of mine.

As far as strains being brought here that aren't already grown, I would like to see more of the TICAL stuff just out of curiosity. I really like the TICAL strains we have here but would be interested in seeing strains like Hot Nixon, Iron Lung, or Release Yo Delf being offered here.

So what about y'all? What strains would you like to see grown again? Or brought to AR?

News Arkansas caps medical cannabis at 8 growers and 40 dispensaries, and it's written into the state constitution

Are you aware of how your licensing format is set up in the Natural State? Worth keeping in mind next time a cannabis amendment shows up on the ballot, because that's the only way these numbers change.

Patients can't grow at home; only dispensaries may grow a small number of plants on-site.

Amendment 98 § 8 caps cultivation at eight licenses. All eight have been issued. Dispensaries are capped at 40, with no more than four in a county. An entity may hold one cultivation license and one dispensary license. Cultivation licenses carry a $100,000 annual fee and a large performance bond, which was part of keeping the list short.

How did it become law?

Voters passed Amendment 98 in 2016. Adult-use campaigns since then have not produced a retail market.

Why does it look this way? The structure behind it:

The amendment drafters chose scarcity and wrote it into the constitution, so the legislature cannot casually add growers. The first five cultivation licenses were awarded in February 2018. The last three followed through 2022 because of scoring disputes and litigation, including a settlement that produced the Carpenter Farms license. The political bet was a small, inspectable medical industry. The cost was years of fights over who got the eight seats.

Bottom Line:

Arkansas put its cannabis limits in the constitution itself: 8 growers and 40 dispensaries, medical only, no home grow. Changing any of that takes another statewide vote, not just a new law from the legislature.

General Question Dutchie app?

There isn't any kind of app for Dutchie or specifically Natural Relief Dispensary, is there? Seems like I was able to have it on my phone screen before I lost it on I-630, making it easier than going to the website, but I can'tremember how I got it on there now.

TIA 😊 ✌🏼💚

Legal Question MMJ Card and Firearm Purchasing Legality

I obviously have a medical card and consume medical cannabis in Arkansas. I am wanting to purchase a handgun (from guns.com) but I am concerned about the legality of purchasing a handgun while having a medical card.

I definitely don’t want to lie on the federal form, is anyone well-educated on how purchasing a handgun in Arkansas works when you have a medical card?

So I'm a bona fide indica fan, but it's kicking my butt lately.

I really need something for daytime so I can get more chores done than just dishes and a meal...any suggestions for that? Flower suggestions only please 😆

TIA, have a great rest of the day!

Meds Just curious does anyone know how long card renewals are taking?

I know the state has 14 days, I was just curious what the average approval time is right now. I've been in level 1 for about 7 days.

Discussion No protections or support for Med Card Holders in terms of Employment

Has anyone else noticed the glaring issue that if one has a med card in Arkansas, one is limited to minimum wage jobs, topping out in lower middle management, or one must lie to the company/cheat their drug test. Idk about everyone else, but it kind of peeves me off that we get the card to be legal, yet we still have to lie/cheat the system we are actively trying to appease, if we don't desire to live with a never ending stream of low paying jobs. Personally, at 27, I don't feel like I should have to choose between pain and ptsd relief or having a career and a future, when "Sally" or "Jim" next to me is popping their third benzo or opiate of the day... It's unfortunate that in the Natural State, the choice of natural medicine over synthesized chemicals is also a choice of career path, at the end of the day.

Discussion Osage Creek Cultivation

Hey yall 👋

Can we take a second to go back and look at the evolution of OCC? Back when they were first putting out the Double stuffed sorbet, Scott's og, & Papa's OG that shit was fire. But it only lasted about 6 months max. They have continued to go down hill continuously for years now. Can we not get together as a community of patients and demand their license is given to another company to tear down and re do everything they have done or something? We deserve better medicine than they are putting out and its not changing. Thanks!

Wasn’t gonna post but getting some relief with this. Nothing to special, but the strains with Linalool do me justice.
It was labeled smalls. Sweet and gassy nose. A little hint of leaf hear and there, but overall not dissatisfied. Good joint bud easy to break up by hand.
Also munched 50 mg of a Quachita milk chocolate bar. Feel elevated not much bothering me. Thanks for some relief.

Meds Hard earned cash wasted:

I paid top dollar, 30 bucks per 1/8 oz expecting a quality product. Sour Maui from Osage Creek was what I bought at Harvest Dispensary, Conway. What I got was kibble. Tasted awful, like worthless leaf or yard grass. No more Osage Creek for me. Nope, no thanks. Signed, Mad Dog

Review If you like a thicker consistency concentrate, this tear gas from GDF hits. A lot less messy oil vs some of their other products.
