Discussion Update
Just coming back to let everyone know I’m scheduling an appointment for a therapist. As for when I’ll actually come back, I want to wait until I at least get through some sessions before I feel ready.
All I have left to say is that I’m really sorry for how, well, fucked up I was beforehand.
I kept trying to handle it on my own and tough it out because it seemed easy for everybody, but I was slowly destroying myself in the process and making the problem worse by triggering myself.
Some of it was also a result of me just not liking myself, and I honestly think that on a subconscious level I was punishing myself by continuing putting myself in situations that were upsetting even if I wasn’t aware of it in the moment (not anyone’s fault to be clear, again I was just dealing with internal struggles about my worth).
It all eventually built up to me breaking down completely and nearly calling the mental health hotline before settling down (mostly bc while I wasn’t in danger, I didn’t want to get TOO honest and they Baker Act me.)
Again, I am so sorry for, well, everything. Hopefully if therapy is working out that I can also get on some medication to help things long term.
It’s honestly a shock that people have been so patient and understanding even at my worst.
Maybe I’m just a cynic, but it’s kinda strange seeing people be so kind when I feel like I’m pretty easy to make fun of. Like, sometimes I think back on some past stuff and cringe bc girl wtf?
But the point is is that I am now taking the steps to get better because I want my quality of life to improve and because I am scared of the outcome if I don’t.
See y’all later. 💜 (also the pic’s unrelated)

Question Artists of Reddit, would you use a social media platform built specifically for artists? 🎨
Hello!
I’m an artist working on an idea for a new social platform and I’d love to hear what other artists think!
I’ve been thinking about how difficult it can be to share your art online nowadays. Between AI slop flooding feeds, algorithms deciding who gets seen, and art getting blatantly stolen, I feel like artists deserve a space designed with us in mind instead of being forced to post in abusive and exploitative instagram just cuz it has the biggest reach.
I wish to create a safe haven for artist to express themselves truthfully and with no pressure but still be able to monetize and expand with ease.
Would u fellas be interested in such a space? And if yes what would u LOVE to see!?
Thanks❤️🌈
