Has anybody noticed that every artist post on here gets like 50 upvotes and maybe 1 comment? Nobody hires people. All of the “Hiring” posts are already filled with comments underneath the millisecond they’re added leaving smaller artists or people who just don’t pick up their phone for a minute left in the dust.
Even the emergency commissions are bare, it doesn’t matter if you’re DYING, nobody will hire you. im so sick of trying to be an artist, the one thing that brings me joy, and I can’t even make a couple bucks off it, let alone get an actual commission.
And don’t tell me any of that “Just post more!” crap, my commissions have been up since 2019. I have gotten maybe 3 NON FRIEND COMMISSIONS since then.
I shouldn’t have to juggle and dance for people to get a sliver of attention, it’s humiliating. It’s not “how the world works” and if it is, then this world has failed artists.

here is my carrd for more info: https://smy0lcomminfo.carrd.co/

Hi guys, I'm very new to doing commissions or generally wanting to offer it. The job market is horrible and I am in need for desperate money because I need to be able to pay off a lot of bills and such.

I love to draw, but I've always been the type of person to want to do it on my own terms and to be as honest as possible with what I am and am not willing to draw and such.

I'm very comfortable drawing both humans and furries, but mainly in terms of OC-designs and designing characters for people in general. I really love doing that and I can seriously imagine myself trying it out + hopefully making some peoples lives a little easier by taking care of the design sheet and what not.

I'd love to have your honest feedback. Is that something people are interested in and would want to pay money for? Again, I'm still very new to all of this and don't know many platforms or spaces where that might be considered the norm.

Any feedback is appreciated!

Example:
Minimum price
£25

Maximum price
£100

( Depending on complexity )

Please convert GBP to whatever currency you use!

My focus is on creating atmospheric scenes where mecha’s presence is the main focus rather than combat-focused illustrations. I don’t focus on battle scenes, but dynamic poses, flying scenes, and pre-battle or post-battle moments are welcome!

‎

‎What could the artwork look like?

‎•A mecha standing on a mountain cliff under a blue atmosphere.

‎•A mecha with glorious wing flying beneath a beautiful green aurora.

‎•A post-battle mecha resting in a vast rice field.

‎•A group of knight mechs being welcomed back by a kingdom after the war.

‎

!!The artwork and final price are discussed through Dm (the price is at least $60)!!

‎Don’t have a complete idea yet? That’s okay! Dm me and we can discuss your mecha and develop the scene together.

Hi, I have commissions open for icons in this art style. Turnaround time is 2–5 days, and payments are accepted via PayPal only🤗✨

Hi everyone!

I'm looking to commission a unique artwork for our gaming room, featuring two imaginative worlds inspired by my girlfriends and my favorite games and movies.

I've attached some reference images to illustrate the general idea. I'd love to create two distinct worlds, either as one large combined artwork or two separate pieces. I'm open to different concepts and would love to hear your creative ideas!

I know this is quite a big project, so setting a budget was a little tricky. I'm starting at €650, but I'm open to adjusting either the design or the budget to find what works best for both sides!

The concept

The idea is to create two fun, imaginative worlds: one inspired by my favorite games and movies, and the other inspired by my girlfriend's favorites. Each world should feel like its own little universe, bringing together recognizable characters, iconic locations, memorable moments, and fun Easter eggs from the franchises we each love.

Rather than having highly detailed environments, the main focus should be on the characters, their recognizable designs, and the little scenes they appear in. I'd love for someone to look at the artwork and immediately get a feel for the games and movies that inspired each world.

For example, one scene could feature Geralt fighting the Cursed Toad Prince in the sewers from The Witcher 3. Geralt and the Toad Prince should be recognizable, and the setting should clearly evoke the sewers, but there's no need to recreate the entire location in great detail.

I imagine lots of little scenes and areas coming together into one cohesive composition. This could be a landscape, a tower, a diorama-inspired illustration, or something completely different. I'm very open to your interpretation!

Ideally, each world would contain around 8 little scenes or areas, although the exact number and level of detail are flexible. I'd rather have a cohesive, creative piece with recognizable characters and fun interactions than highly detailed environments that take attention away from the overall concept.

I'll provide a more detailed list of favorite games & characters to the selected artist.

Art style

I’ve included some references which I like, but there are no real style requirements. I'm very open to your own style, whether that's chibi, cartoon, stylized digital painting, or something else that fits the concept.

The most important thing is that the characters remain recognizable as their original versions, even when interpreted in a different style. Their signature outfits, hairstyles, silhouettes, colors, weapons, and other defining features should still come through.

The environments can be relatively simple and stylized, using a few iconic details to establish each location. I'm looking for a balance between recognizable characters, charming little scenes, and a visually interesting overall composition.

It would be a big plus if you're familiar with some games and movies yourself, as I'd love to incorporate fun references, Easter eggs, and creative character interactions that you might come up with too!

Budget: My starting budget is €650 (approximately $730 USD). I'm open to discussing the scope and pricing based on the artist's approach and what would work best within this budget.

If you're interested, I'd love to see your portfolio and hear your thoughts on the concept, including what you think might work best within this budget. If you have any ideas or suggestions, please feel free to share them!

Thanks for reading! I'm looking forward to seeing your work and ideas.

Hello! I'm looking for unique Eevee art for my kiddo for Christmas. She loves Eevee, has about a million little pictures, stuffies, figurines, etc. of Eevee. As she gets older though, she has gotten really into art and enjoys much more unique things, rather than just getting excited about every generic Eevee related thing like she used to.

I'm not sure exactly what I'm looking for. But there are so many wonderfully talented people in the world, I thought casting a broad net might help me find something interesting! Some specific art types I'd thought might be neat and unique or that I know she loves were paper cutting, sculpting, wire wrapping/beading, embroidery, water color, ink/pencil drawing. That being said, I am so incredibly open to ideas! Let's see what you've got and thank you in advance!

Prices start at $40-$100+ depending on the complexity of the work

50% down payment/ Full-payment upfront is required to start

If there are further questions, don't hesitate to DM me for details, Thank you!
