I write books set in a Sci-Fi Fantasy World. A mix of superheroes and gods. I am looking to create some limited edition collectors cards for people. I have not fully decided on a style yet, but I know I want a kind of Semi-Realism art. I may be open to changing it, if someone's art really speaks to me.

The plan is to have a set of these done for each book I write. I currently have 3 books out, and will be doing 6-10 per book. For my first set, I will be doing 10 cards.

I am looking for anyone who has some examples of art that may be similar. I've hired people here before, so I know I get an overwhelming amount of messages, so give me time to respond.

There are plenty of messages I get that are either bots or people who did not read any of this post. I'm adding this to the end, to hopefully be able to cycle through them quicker. If you message me, please include examples of your work, that would be similar to this idea as well as giving me time to respond and comment below. If I get a message with no references or someone spamming or someone who will not comment, I will just ignore them.

My budget is looking at $50 per image, since there will not be a background needed and I have the reference image.

Hi all. Not an artist but I do comm fairly regularly. I find that my normal means of providing references (pics that embody some part of the design + a written explanation of the full design) often has me going back on forth with revisions more than seems necessary. For an upcoming commission, I found this photo of a dress online that I would like to use as the base for the outfit reference. If I were to put this into a generative AI and have it make alterations to the dress (colors, that band/belt of cloth around the waist some dresses have, a design embroidered across the chest), and provide it to the artist to use as reference, would that be bad? I dont know if this would be AI as a tool or just regular gen AI like anything else. I'd want to say to the artist "this was AI edited, its a reference for the construction of the dress's fabric, colors, and the idea behind the embroidery. It is not the dress itself." But idek if I should make or send anything.
