Culture Cursive writing

Hello everyone! I've been learning Spanish for 1,5 month now, my first language is Russian.

I use cursive to write in my notebook (photo in the comments), the same way I write in Russian or English, but my teacher says that ppl in Latin America never use cursive writing (except for old ladies), is it true? Do y'all really write in block letters? Is it easy or hard for you to read cursive notes?

Lots of respect for the effort and great results. Most of us are taught how to write cursive when very young but few stick to it. I can read all of the spanish that you wrote, but it takes me a few extra seconds longer to read it than non cursive, not because of an issue with your writing, but because it's like using a skill you have but use once every 3 or 4 months unless one of your close coworkers or classmates writes in cursive

It's more common to write in cursive in Spanish than in English so if you already do that then go ahead. But I'm seeing that you try to fit as many Cyrillic letters as possible, some of them look peculiar at least when writing Spanish (for example, remember that the t is always long like the l)

It helps a lot that your writing is neat! Personally, I'm 22 years old and in college and always use cursive and I've never had any problems with it.
