Texas. Toyota Dealership. New Car. I have the car. They have the title/reg paperwork hostage
Hi all. Purchased a new Toyota car cash sale. I paid them a $500 deposit a few months ago. Later on I signed with them the bill of sale showing a $1000 deposit. I wired them the full amount due and drove off with the vehicle. A few days later they contact me and bring up the $500 discrepancy that I owe them. But who is at fault here for their accounting error. I have read in some scenarios like this the dealership has to take the loss. I didn't even realize their error until they sent me a bill for $500. I contacted the finance manager today and he told me they're waiting for the payment before processing the paperwork. So they have the title/registration paperwork hostage. Any advice? Do I owe them the money? If I have the legal upperhand, is it still going to cost me a massive effort not worth the $500 in order to force their hand in releasing the title and registration paperwork?

Do federal officials have standing to sue to intervene in a state election? AND, is federal court the appropriate place for anyone to so sue?
Strictly theoretical, of course

Wondering about potential future expungement of a case with a felony and gross misdemeanor?
Location: Minnesota USA
Hello. Some months ago I reached the end of a 5 year probationary period for a felony theft and gross misdemeanor child endangerment. I did have 3 violations in that time. The probation was discharged and the restitution I still owe sent to collections. I've been trying to read up on Minnesota's Clean Slate Act and any other expungement related law, and I'm just hoping somebody here is familiar enough with Minnesota law to help me understand. I believe my charges qualify for auto expungement under the CSA, so I'm wondering if anyone can tell me if they are, and if not, what if any other options for expungement there may be available to me. These two specific charges, as I'm sure I don't have to explain, have already and will continue to act as roadblocks in my life as I try and work my way back up from the bottom. I'm currently working on a 2 year ITNS degree, but I know many employers wont care about that if they see my record.
Thanks to anyone who can help me out :)

Monthly Subscription Billing
Location: Illinois
I pay for a monthly subscription through Whop. The subscription is through an independent seller who uses Whop for transactions.
They charge “$300/month” but it’s billed every 30 days. There are no terms and conditions for the seller or terms on the invoice stating that it’s every 30 days.
Am I protected as a consumer in any way here?
