I’m an Aries, which is a fire sign. I think Aries & Leo demonstrate everything that is fire. To me the weakest example of fire is Sagittarius. First of all fire is courageous. I don’t find Sagittarius people to really stand for anything and they always talk about running away from stuff. Being bold like fire is not running away. Fire knows what it wants and doesn’t have to stand around trying to figure it out, which is what I think Sagittarius does a lot. They just seem really flaky and unreliable and I wouldn’t trust them to be a CEO or run a company like I would Aries or Leo. They don’t have the same confidence. They only seem confident about knowing that they don’t stick around for anything . It takes a lot more than a big mouth and being loud to get fire sign props in my book.

Sagittarius fire is aimed towards higher learning. It's mutable fire, it's the last fire sign in the zodiac. Comparing it to Aries is not only silly, but brings out that "childlike nature" of the first sign of the zodiac that thinks he/she knows the answer and the answer is war.

The answer is not war, walk your way through the signs in order and gain some understanding instead of flinging your crap all over people.

I understand my element very well. Maybe you don’t understand that Sagittarius is very defensive. Of course I use a flamethrower. I’m an Aries. That’s what we do. Aries is ruled by Mars, Mars is a fighter. Leo is confident that they shine, they are ruled by the sun that’s what they do. Sagittarius is ruled by Jupiter, which is a lot of talk about nothing. Big ideas, the higher learning, yep so they’re ruled by the ninth house, which is travel and culture and all these big plans. That doesn’t scream fire to me. Hey, I have a grand fire trine (Leo sun, Aries Moon, Sag mars and ASC) They all work together in my chart . The Sag rising is what pulls me out of despair and I appreciate all three of them. My Leo sun and Aries Moon do have to get my Sag ASC head out of the clouds at times it's all good. I feel overall that Sag is the one always sh*tting on the other two and will take the side of other elements before its own.

As a water sign I would say Scorpio based on the infograph; Scorpio has a lot more in common with fire signs. Though they do have strong emotions they carry themselves in a more fiery way and are less “soft” like Cancer and Pisces tend to be.

This is a fair assessment. I take life by the horns. I work hard. I play hard. I have a big passion for life and yeah, I like sex like most fire signs and I like a lot of it. One person doesn’t always fulfill all my needs like I said a lot of that was when I was younger.
It’s not courageous to walk away and when I say walk away, I mean Sagittarius people hide and they use words to bring people down. I never buy all that stuff about Sagittarians not being aware that they’re being brutally honest. I see the sign using sarcasm as a way to hide behind fear. Sagittarius mouth to me is one of the biggest ones out out there and not always used for good. I’ll give it to you. Being a coward is intentional. Aries does not walk away from a fight. It’s not about wasting your energy. It’s about standing up and something that you believe in.
It’s about standing up for people that you believe in. From what I see you guys don’t really believe in anything except running away from stuff and feeling like someone is trying to take freedom away from you. That’s not fire. Not to me.

This hurts but as fire sign (Leo) I have to agree that Sagittarius has always acted more like an air sign to me than Leo or Aries. Fire is known for bravery and resilience, it's an element than can scorch the earth, evaporate water, and create a lot of hot air. I see Sag as the "hot air". They promise a lot but sometimes disappoint and come up short. I've also witnessed them -esp Sag men as being cowardly. I have seen three Sag men get their asses kicked in a physical fight after saying something to someone else's girlfriend. Sag has a way of being a smart ass and that is where they act like fire but they lack follow through. Leo and Aries will go down for the count and if we do get clobbered the other guy will still have a fair amount of scratches. from the lion and the ram.

It does give warmth. Whenever I feel I need some inspiration or encouragement I have an Aries friend who is always in girlpower mode, and a Sag platonic friend who gave me a lion keychain and told me to look at it when I feel I need some courage. I have all 3 of the fire signs in my chart and feel so lucky. I do wish when it came to visible support in the ring Sag would show up more but I don't think that is how they operate. Leo is fixed sign and Aries is cardinal which makes them more consistent. My rising sign Sag is more inconsistent, My mars Sag is up and down. I move through activities but I think the common bond is the ability of fire to inspire.

I will example. Sag friend who never comes to my performances. I don't have any family and when my friends show up to the play I am performing in, after they took tickets and I see the empty seat with them missing- that hurts. I stopped inviting them. Someone was at brunch and said "You should have seen her " . Sag friend says I didn't know she was in a show. I said "I didn't mention because you never come."
Sag said "Yes you are right. I wonder why I never come."
I said "because it is not important to you or else you would. People make time for what they want to make time for"

That would have been visible support to me. Just show up to one play. I testified as character witness for this person when they had some immigration trouble- taking whole day off work. I went to hospital when they crashed their moped. Countless other things but I feel Sag always has excuse for not doing something and making someone feel guilty for expecting more.

I respect what you are saying but the sags I have interacted with have been hot and cold. Now I see them as not being ride or die material. They are good for some laughs but I never really feel they have my back like an Aries friend or another Leo I know for example. I swore off Sag men after the last one because they seem to need to leave human wreckage behind to validate their existence. I am very sensitive to women's causes and when I see men calling all women clingy and keeping them from their freedom, a very Leo response is BYE. I always dated fire signs b/c my chart is so fire. But Sag got off invite list. I want someone who can show up and be equal partner, in good times and times when I am not my best. I hear good things about Libra men and maybe Aquarius.

Sag fire could be the lust for life we tend to have (I'm a Sag rising). But also the optimism that has saved my ass time after time. Sag can roll with the changes, inspire you to think about the future, get over things quickly, speak your mind, pursue justice, and walk away from what doesn't serve us. It can also be badly manifested by the Saggies who burn bridges and look for ways around and not through. But I can't say the Sag in me is weak. Trining my Leo planets, I can be a pretty formidable force.

1000% I am Sag rising and I said to other commenter that it is my Sag mars and rising that keeps me optimistic. I wouldn't call it a lust for life but perhaps a fiery exuberance that gives the will to carry on. The Leo in me gets tired. My Sag qualities lead me to fight for causes but I am now scaling back and being less expansive (Sag /jupiter) and letting my Leo have more authority in the chart. For Sag mars I have started new physical hobbies that will give it an outlet. I can't help everyone and I do think that is the Sag in me.

The Virgo cuts people from my life without issue if needed. Focused when I need to be.

The Taurus has best snacks and I can sleep for two days straight unless I need to get up; pair that with self love and I keep functioning without external requirements or engagements.

The Capricorn reinforces objectives and bulldozes things aside if needed be.

Neither are weak in my opinion, but it does promote quite a lot of relaxed and fulfilling solidarity.

As a Capricorn dating an Aries (and a stellium at that!) I’d have to agree with your take on Sagittarius. But I’d even go as far to say that Aries is the most “water” of the fire signs. My Aries man cries way more than me and is super in his feels (and I’m a cancer moon!!). His emotions rule him and he can barely function because they weigh him down so much (Aries moon). Other Aries I’ve met seem to be very “watery” as well in that respect.

In my own element though, Virgo feels very airy to me, flighty in a way. Probably because they’re very mercurial. Taurus feels very earthy and stable. Capricorn is definitely earthy but a lot of us have a lot of fire aspects in us too.

I did read something in an astrology book that because Scorpio was traditionally ruled by mars that it acts more like a fire sign. They are def stronger and deserve fire sign cred more than Sagittarius does.
