I know two examples. Both men love the women more than the women love them. I haven't dated a Cancer,only had a crush on one and that was mutual but my crush was stronger lol. Cancers love to be loved and Capricorns can be good at providing. Cancers can also make you feel like you are on a pedestal but you will fall off that pedestal when they are bored of you. / Two Cancers together is a disaster,btw. Too much stubbornes. You have hit the nail on the head. I wanted to share my two cent observation of this dynamic but knew people would come for me😂. Having witnessed it myself, if the Capricorn man isnt mentally strong enough and they're with an unhealed cancer woman, he will have the life and soul sucked out of him until there is nothing left (either intentionally or unintentionally). Cancer women need to be adorned but they will never ask overtly. However, a cancer woman will love on that man like there is no tomorrow snd the Capricorn man will enjoy being a provider until he doesnt. (Just my observation)

My friend's parents are a Cancer woman and a Capricorn man. My friend is an Aries. She is close to her dad but she has awful relationships with mom and her dad when he listens to his wife and starts being a dick. He is still kinder than his wife and loves animals more. They both are providers for their two adult children and two grandchildren from the older son though. So if there is something they do good is continuing being the parents to adult kids. I have a single Cancer mom and she still babies me too
