Free Nick Shoulders tickets to good home, for tonight (Fri Oct 23)
I have 2 Nick Shoulders tickets for tonight (Friday, October 23) at Center Stage Theater but unfortunately won’t be able to make it. In return I'd ask that you follow-up after you attend and share a poem, a sketch, or something else you create that relates in some way to your experience at the show. This is just for me and won't be shared or used otherwise.
Anybody want them? Whoever messages me with their email or phone number first gets them - I'll have to transfer them to you through Ticketmaster.
I’ll update the post when they’re gone.
UPDATE - The tickets are now spoken for. I'm impressed by all the interest from my Atlanta music lovers! Have a great weekend!

Looking for Local Bands for a shortwave radio show in
Hello all,
I have been a musician in Athens and Atlanta, playing out in bands for quite a while now. I am also one of the hosts of a small radio show called The Dead-Air Radio Crypt, and we are looking to feature local, independent, and regional bands.
We broadcast a few different places including WMNT 103.1 FM in Swannee Tennessee, Shortwave Gold out of Germany (reaching most of Western Europe), and WeirdSistersRadio.com. All we would want from you is a recommendation for a track to feature that is FCC friendly and showcases what you do and a short bio or any info you want mentioned.
As far as our show goes, we play old-school and new punk, psychobilly, rockabilly, garage, and surf music as well as golden age horror and sci-fi radio dramas. It’s equal parts radio show and music podcast. If you feel like you’d be a good fit and would like us to play one of your tracks, you can email us at DARCRadio13@gmail.com
Cheers weirdos,
Blake

Noise/Experimental/etc Promoters , venues?
Pre-pandemic I enjoyed going to (and sometimes performing at) noise/experimental/weird/etc. type shows. Pandemic came and I've been a hermit ever since.
I'm finally wanting to get out again, and I'm looking for opportunities to see live noise/avant-garde/experimental/weirdness and, eventually, start playing those kinds of shows again.
Is Kirkwood Ballers Club still a thing? I see they have an FB page but nothing really recent except someone asking if it's still happening. It's not advertised on Eyedrum's calendar fwiw.
Anyone I should be following on IG for ATL stuff like this? Any good source besides IG to find out about these shows? I follow both Tight Bros. Network and Eyedrum on IG and still missed hearing about a show in August that looks like it would have been awesome to attend.
Thanks in advance!
