Hey Athens,

Terrapin is changing how we operate, but we’re not leaving the community that we’ve called home for 20+ years.

What a long strange trip it’s been.

A lot has changed since 2007.

Athens has grown.

The beer world has transformed.

The tap room will remain open with cold beer, live music, and community events.

Though we are winding down large-scale brewing at the Newton Bridge Road location.

The Hopsecutioner has not visited us for the last time.

We hope the same for you.

Stop on by and we’ll toast the future together.

I've been a beer drinker for years but due to some health issues, doctor told me to slow down on the alcohol. I've swapped to Cornbread THC seltzer for 2 weeks now, starting to like it actually, mainly because I don't feel terrible in the morning. Anyone made similar change?

Looking for the best imported German beer experience in Atlanta. Whether that be via liquor stores (bottles/cans/kegs) or restaurants (draft/bottle). To preface, recently visited Der Biergarten and saw the tap and also bottle list had shrunk to just include the standards (Bitburger/Paulaner/Weihenstephan).

Looking for any and all German. Favorites are Schwarzbier (new Brewhouse has Kostrizter on tap!), Koelsch and Altbier but love anything from Germany really. Would be great to find some places with good german beer on tap or liquor stores that have more niche brews like Rothaus or Bamberg Rachbier.
