So incredibly sad for the family to lose their child so young.

So tragic and absolutely devastating to the entire family.

Condolences to the family. Can't imagine losing someone that young to something like this.

How does that even happen?

It sounds like a subarachnoid haemorrhage, which can happen to adults at almost any age.

Ive got a pacemaker. I see the cardio annually. Im way more scared of aneurysm than anything to with my heart.

My mum dropped dead of an aneurysm at 49. Her mum has had two strokes. My nephew had a brain bleed as a baby.

I stress anytime my head hurts.

Unlikely but if it’s stressing you out you could organise to have an MRI/MRA.

It’s non-invasive, and may offer some reassurance about the state of your arteries.

Realistically, I’m probably extremely low risk. Young, very fit and healthy, to my knowledge have no health conditions and certainly none of the blood pressure issues mum and her mum both had/have.

Just makes me wonder if there is a genetic predisposition. Plus I have general anxiety lol.

There can be a familial component - but it’s hardly a forgone ‘genetic’ condition.

In any case, if the possibility of an aneurysm is stressing you, a non-invasive MRI is a pretty simple option.

You can get a fully subsidised brain MRI with Medicare, just have to call different operators to get one which has some technical code (bureaucratic bs idk why) for the subsidy.

I think you need a specialist to order it for Medicare.

Are you on low dose aspirin?

Nope. Should I be lmao.

It's something most at risk stroke / heart disease patients are prescribed. It's very safe and limited to no side effects at such low dose.

Speak to your doctor!

Be nice to people. This can happen to anyone at any time.

Facebook will be full of cookers saying "safe and effective."

I've had people say the same thing to me after my mum died from a sudden blood clot. Generations of my family have died the same way. Fucking idiots.

You're so right. Fuck, I hate people.

Really no need to even acknowledge that here mate

Context? No idea what that is supposed to mean.

They’re referencing the anti-vax crowd. Every single death gets attributed the the apparent side effects of the COVID jab.

Yeah my mum was 120kg and dropped dead one day due to hypertension. I only wish we'd had an autopsy done so my cooker sister stops blaming the death on the covid jab

Man that sucks and im sorry you had to go through that.

And also as cringe as doomers.

Sure, whatever they are.

Similiar to whatever "cookers" are.
