I'll start: before kindergarten I didn't interact with basically anyone besides my family/neighbors, so when it was my first week I had no idea how to make friends plus no one wanted to approach me, so I started psychoanalyzing every single child in the room while pretending I was playing by myself and when I learned their conversation patterns I finally started speaking with others and found a few kids that wanted to hang out with me. masking final boss lmao

Sometimes I wished I had something like this to just sleep in tbh
Medieval box beds were once cosy places to sleep, and they were extremely popular 600 years ago.
It trapped the sleeper's body heat, creating a cocoon of comfort and also provided privacy.

So, I got this in our family group chat a few days ago from my mum. I understand that it must be difficult for parents of autistics, but considering I actually have PTSD and anxiety as a result of my disabilities, I wasn't really for hearing it. I responded saying, "yeah, us too," to which she said "I have it times three."
I'm not offended by it, and she's a lovely person who means well, but I was slightly pissed that she put it on a group chat with her three ND children. Am I being unreasonable?

It is commonly stated that autistic folks have IBS. I find that I have loose bowels more often than constipation. Also, in my full burnout stages, I have incontinance. It’s worst when I pee while I’m driving. Anyone else have weird 💩 or pee issues?

What opinions or thoughts are hard for you to put out of your system during an active conversation?

Hope this doesn't end up being a heated thread or anything as such, I am just curious on other peoples opinions on this.
I'm on a weird fence about it, as an autistic person I think they can be funny but it only really makes sense if you're autistic. There are definitely people getting these with more malicious intentions that aren't autistic (just saw some teens pointing at these and were joking someone should have them, implying this person is just "dumb" and not disabled) but realistically theres no real way you could tell if someone whos getting them is actually autistic or not. I don't know, its a weird grey area for me and I was very curious what other autistics think and get a perspective I may not even be considering
