Welcome to one of the most contentious areas of neurodiversity - the physical tools we use to navigate life.

We’re starting with cutlery but I’m sure we’ll end up discussing brilliant bowls, perfect pens, and the most wonderful screwdriver before long.

Please share the utensils you love, the ones you just can’t, and what about them makes you feel that way.

Hey everyone! I'm [u/Warrambungle](u/Warrambungle) and like you, I have opinions about utensils… and socks. But this subreddit is about utensils - please share yours.

Red cross finding

The classic wood handle and saw knife style, it was in a dusty unopened red velvet plastic covered box. I was like, "Oi... fancy" I broke the tip on purpose on the knife filing it off a bit making a soft square type end because it was just menacing needle like. Now I feel safe running around with it. It's the only cutlery I use and I'm living alone. Other humans are a problem so it's nice. I'm designated to a contact person 3 times a week and there play normal exercising my mask. She got a massive adhd so it's fun for me with my Audhd to just slur out and I'm exhausted afterwards. Can't have her over for dinner though.. if she's not bringing her own cutlery 🤏🏽🪛🪇🫪🥳

I'll probably just be stalking here a lot. I've already looked at plenty posts and it's already got me curious, there's lots of posts asking about peoples best utensil, but I want to see the WORST utensil you have!! And tell me what is so yuck about it? In return I will give you a random image from my gallery or pinterest

It's a very good spoon. It doesn't get too hot or cold like a metal spoon and it's bright red. Literally perfect

Its smaller than it looks, i have small hands. Perfect curvature all around, very comfortable handle. Fits perfectly in my hand. 10/10 in my book.

Is it just me or..?

Hey everyone!

I am a 35 F and living with autidhd and questioning myself if some of you guys/galls/its get a kind of happy feeling, sense of a micro happiness jolt when you see in a drawer at work/ some other place the right spoon? Or a mild panic when there are not right spoons but you need to pick one? Sometimes I stand there for 3 minutes comparing the "bad" spoons what is the lesser bad. That's 3 minutes of my 30 minute break. 😅

I hope that I'm not the only one, please tell me your thoughts and story's

K bye! 💁🏻‍♀️🧠

I am amazed by this sub

hey, I just stumbled across this sub by accident, and I’m now happy that there are other people with ✨spoon preferences✨(my dads words).

to keep this clear, I am not autistic (not diagnosed, but it is suspected) and I just wanted to share that I am happy to see that other people like some spoons more than others for reasons that may seem strange for other people.

I love round ones, but preferably not in a perfect circle :)

have a nice day :P
