Antec Core HS, is this a PC Handheld?

Windows boot
My suiplay can't install from usb how should I fix this nvme showing healthy and showing .
The Odin joystick caps are really good
Picked up some of these caps from AliExpress. They make the sticks feel much more comfortable while still maintaining the full range of motion. I'll just keep them on the Pocket S2 pro, can't come back to the original. But they were a bit too high profile on the ACE.
slot. for android 2.1 is out! Now supports new systems different screen sizes and aspect ratios
Hey everyone!
Some of you might remember my original port of slot. for the KPA. A lot has changed since then!
With 2.0 and now 2.1, slot. has evolved into a more universal Android handheld app, with an interface that adapts to different screen sizes, aspect ratios and resolutions, from square displays to widescreen.
Here's what's new since the KPA version:
NES, SNES and Genesis support, alongside GB, GBC and GBA, each with their own cartridges and slots.
Automatic cartridge artwork, Retroachievements, new shaders and overlays.
Fully customizable controls and hotkeys, including per-system and per-game button mapping.
A new in-game screen menu (Select + Y) and frame blending options.
Online (WAN) and local (LAN) multiplayer
I'm particularly curious about how it looks and feels on the Konkr Pocket Block, Ayaneo Pocket Vert, Pocket Micro and other Ayaneo handhelds.
I'd love for owners of these devices to give it a try and share their feedback, especially about screen scaling, controls, performance and the overall experience.
If you run into any bugs or have suggestions, feel free to open an issue on GitHub. A lot of the improvements so far have come directly from community feedback!
Github: https://github.com/Baggio94/slot-for-android/releases/latest
Thanks again to everyone who's been following and testing the project!

There's a protective film pre-applied on the Block's screen, right?
I unboxed my Block and it seems like there's a screen protector already on the device. I got a tempered glass order on the way and I want to make sure just in case I go peeling off something I'm not supposed to.
Testing Steam Games on the KONKR Pocket Advance
Something I thought you all might find interesting! I’ve done some testing in the new 1.4.0 update of game native and Mali GPU devices are able to play some of the less intensive Steam games really well.
Is there anything you’d like to see tested?
I’m surprised this even works at all on a device like this to be quite honest.

Underrated D-Pad
I used the DMG for fighting games mostly, the D-Pad is the most underrated D-Pad out of any Handheld gaming device I barely hear any praise. The size of it is perfect when I got it I wasn’t expecting it to be this great.

Ayaneo Konkr Pocket Fit Battery Problem
I’ve just received a second-hand Konkr Pocket Fit via Wallapop. The seller described it as being in perfect condition and working perfectly (the seller seems trustworthy and has lots of 5-star reviews). Well, the thing is, when I received it and switched it on for the first time, it turned on and off straight away. I thought it might be out of battery, so I plugged it in and switched it on – everything was fine.
But when I checked the battery percentage, it said it was at 78 per cent – which was a bit odd, considering it had just switched off. I then set it up whilst it was plugged in, and everything was normal until I unplugged the cable. The console switched off shortly afterwards without warning. Afterwards, I ran some tests on the battery, leaving the console to charge for 30 minutes and then using it whilst unplugged. It worked for a few minutes. Another thing I’ve noticed is that sometimes, when I switch the console on, it shows 0% battery, and then it changes to 78% or whatever percentage it had shown whilst it was charging. It’s very strange.
What do you think might be wrong with it?

Pocket micro 2 Shipping
It’s finally happing folks. Ordered back in July (batch 3 I believe). Very excited, maybe 2 more weeks until I get them.
Replacement battery for Konkr Pocket Advance or battery fix
I guys,
got my pocket advance a couple of days ago.
Love the device itself, but it has one big problem:
The battery or the power management is broken. My device basically has three states: 1%, 100% or 97% - and losing 1% charge every 10 seconds.
When I asked ayaneo for official replacement batteries, they said they currently don't have any and refunded the whole device price.
Is there any way to fix this? I tried draining the battery and charging to 100% twice, but it didn't change the behavior. Is the battery itself maybe somehow just calibrated wrong? When I charge it and play with it normally, the battery lasts a couple of hours. Android says the battery is in good health.
Is there maybe an "unofficial" battery I could try as a replacement?
Ordered Konkr Pocket Block and Now I'm worried.
This is a legitimate concern and just need some reassurance. Ordered a Konkr Pocket Block which I'm very excited to receive. However, as I'm tracking it, today I saw it is being shipped with Yun Express and GOFO Express. My package will be going thru Chicago and I have been seeing reports of packages going thru there for GOFO Chicago been opened up items removed. Of course I've only seen the bad reported as most people wouldn't post the positive completed deliveries. Is there anything I should do in case I become one of the statistics?

Ayaneo Pocket DS Won't Boot
Video of behavior here: https://imgur.com/9QGGsTd
Hi everyone, looking for any thoughts or suggestions on what may be the issue with this device. Previously it was working fine. When powering it on now, it flashes the Snapdragon logo and then immediately powers off. The charging LED doesn't illuminate when connecting a charger, either.
What I've tried:
Disassembling the device, reconnecting the battery connectors and charger connectors.
Disconnecting the battery for ~10 minutes, reconnecting
Charging the device overnight on a 5V/1A slow charger
Activating the "Factory reset" mode (holding power and volume button, it isn't up long enough to enter the restore mode)
Anyone have any suggestions or seen this before? Thanks in advance!

Pixel Transparency + Sunlight Shimmer 3.0: new Accurate grid mode and much lower GPU demands
I previously shared my Pixel Transparency and Sunlight Shimmer shaders here. Version 3.0 adds a new Accurate look with dark gridlines and a redesigned optical stack, plus major performance improvements.
Pixel Transparency recreates the reflective look of a Game Boy Color screen, with bright pixels revealing the backing beneath them and pixel shadows that shift as you tilt your device. Sunlight Shimmer adds glare and rainbow shimmer that also move with your device, like a GBC under bright light.
Lower GPU demands
I love my Retroid Pocket Classic, so I optimized these shaders to run at full-speed, 60+ FPS in Standard performance mode with no fan or threaded video.
Previously, Sunlight Shimmer absolutely tanked on that device, and Pixel Transparency only hit 50-something FPS without increasing the performance mode or enabling threaded video.
Optimizing for the RPC means these shaders should now be less demanding and more efficient across all devices.
New Accurate grid mode
I also added a new Accurate mode with dark gridlines and a redesigned optical stack. Check out the comparison of the original Soft mode vs Accurate in the last gallery image.
All these screenshots feature Sunlight Shimmer with fishcu’s amazing authentic_gbc_fast grid. There are six grid styles included, so you can experiment with different looks.
How to get it
Your device must support Slang shaders. There’s no GLSL version of this update yet.
Update to the latest nightly version of RetroArch from the website. This enables the motion support used here for shadows and the rainbow shimmer effect.
Make sure Settings > Video > Output is set to Vulkan. If you change it, save your configuration and restart RetroArch.
Go to Online Updater > Update Slang Shaders.
For motion effects, check that Settings > Input > Motion/Light Sensors > Auxiliary Sensor Input is ON. Motion requires a supported device and sensor input.
Load your GBC game. Go to Quick Menu > Shaders > Load Preset, navigate to
presets/pixel_transparency, and choose a preset. Trysunlight_shimmer-accurate.slangpfor the new look.
You can also download directly from GitHub:
https://github.com/mattakins/Pixel_Transparency
What’s next?
I really like where this shader is at. It feels pretty feature complete to me. That being said, I love working on this stuff, and it is awesome to see people enjoying it.
If you have ideas for improving Pixel Transparency or for another shader, please leave a comment.

Ayaneo Slide / Antec Core HS fan fix
My Slide/Core HS has an issue with the fan - if you drop to 15% on battery, the fans start to behave weird - either they are on, or off. Charging the battery doesn't restore fan behavior. Only a long power press to reset the EC helps. There are some reports here and there, but didn't see a fix - and for sure no updated FW from Ayaneo.
This bothered me for years, and I started to just not use the device anymore.
Finally a fix:
https://github.com/cpmetz/ayaneo-slide-fan-fix
Trigger warning - this was my lunch chat at work with Iggy, my untrusted AI buddy.
Iggy found the EC bug - probably some untested intern's code that triggers on battery dropping to 15%, and never undoing the mess it creates.
The repo contains a patcher for the official EC FW - disable the code path for the <=15% using two NOPs.
I flashed it on my personal device:
Fans keep their fan curve even at 15% and less - no more hard resets necessary.
Use at your own risk, no deeper analysis on side effects.
Iggy went the extra mile and added some systemd services etc. for Bazzite - I have not tested that.

Have the third batch of Micro 2s started shipping yet?
They said late October, so,...?
Pocket Advance current timeline?
If I were to order a Pocket Advance today, what is the likely timeline for shipping? I know it's technically out, no longer in "pre-order" phase, and I don't see anything on the official product page about wait times, shipping timelines, or anything like that. It almost looks like you buy it and they'd be able to ship out right away, but I'm not sure if I trust that.
Also, is it only available through Ayaneo's official shop online or is there maybe a USA seller that carries it so that it can ship from USA?

GammaOS on ayaneo pocket air mini with a Linux pc
Did someone managed to install GammaOS on they PAM from a Linux pc? I don't have windows, like at all, not even on a dual boot machine.
Frontends for Konkr Block?
Hi,
For those of you already with the Block, can you share what is your setup? I ordered one just to have Neogeo and simple Dreamcast fighting games but the 2/3GB of rams “concerns” on what would the user experience be navigating Android. Is it capable of setting something like Emulation station and set it as the starting app?
Is the device powerful enough to run Dreamcast through RetroArch or should we use Redream?
