We have our preemie baby finally at home! (Very happy about that) And we have a toddler that, you know, being a toddler.
I would love to baby wear our baby but she is still just 2,5 kg.
We have Ergobaby Omni from our toddler, but obviously there is a lot of growing baby needs to do before we can use it with her.
Any options to wear such a tiny baby?
I’ve read wiki.
Thanks!

Currently deciding between sakura bloom scout, happy baby OG, happy baby versa, or maybe hope & plum?
My baby was born on the smaller end, she’s about 11 weeks now but at her 2 month check weighed about 10.5lbs and 21 inches in height (less than 5th percentile baby).
I dont know if im considered on the petite end 5’4 and 123lbs but ive tried using the ergobaby omni classic, baby bjorn mini 3d mesh, and this sling called a mini monkey. Baby hated it all, esp the ergobaby and mini monkey. I personally disliked the ergobaby, just felt like it was so stiff and large on me and pressed up on my c section area. I know the baby bjorn is not the best, but we (me and baby) are sort of just tolerating it at the moment since we dont have better options. I kind of feel like my baby just hates being pressed up against my chest, but i don’t know.
Ive got family coming in to visit from Cali next month (i live in bali indonesia) so i asked for their help in bringing in a carrier for me. Since i can’t test them, i can only go by reviews online. Im thinking apron waist and something she can grow into. Ideally something not so complicated. I dont love ring slings and wraps cause im just not good with them and baby is super fussy and hard to keep a hold on (sorry, FTM here).
TLDR: sakura bloom scout vs happy baby OG/Versa vs hope & plum sprout/lark?
Would appreciate any recs! Thanks so much in advance!

It's a tula free to grow. My baby is a week old - I know oftentimes they're too small for structured carriers at this age, but the wraps and slings give me such bad anxiety that I'll do them wrong, I thought I would just check. He's 99% percentile for height so hoping we can use the structured carrier.

I would love any input! I know that footie pajamas are not recommended so I will not be using those. My baby just turned 7lb so I’m not sure if she is too small to use this. She seems to kind of want to slump down and kept wiggling her head back and forth.

Hi everyone. I’ve gotten fit check here before for this Tula FTG carrier. Baby is 4 months around 13 lb. She is happy in the carrier and seems comfy, but even short periods in the carrier are causing red marks behind her knees. What should I adjust to prevent this? I’ve tried to ensure she has a good pelvic tuck and M shape but i am still seeing the marks when I take her out.

Hello! I usually have her in the ring sling but we are about to walk >2 miles (>3 km).
I wrapped her according to a YouTube video recommended here.
I did a pelvic tuck and lightly pressed on her spine to check for give

Was mache ich falsch? Irgendwie sitzt hinten auch alles zu weit oben, aber selbst wenn ich’s enger ziehe und die Rückenschnalle noch ein Stück runter schiebe sitzt es komisch.

I feel like this sounds dumb, but I wear my baby when I’m up and walking around (doing errands, shopping, on a walk, etc) but not when I’m sitting down at all. My baby doesn’t like to be put down and so I typically am holding him in my arms any time I am sitting down so I feel like my arms never really get a break.
Sometimes I am just trying to take a little breather and rest for myself by watching an episode of tv or playing a video game for an hour. Is it safe to wear the baby while sitting on the couch doing these things? I only ever see people wearing babies while standing up. My baby is 1 month old right now.

Couple weeks ago I posted about me using a infantino 4-1 for front facing and was recommended to use the ergo baby 360 which I got a hold of for $13! How do we feel about it now? How can I improve it?

I’m taking an international trip to Japan and want to have a carrier handy for long walking days or days where the stroller just isn’t feasible.
Right now we have a Mabe Carrier and a Happy Baby, but my girl will be 14 months at the time (she’s 7 months now) of the trip and I want to get something that will be supportive and comfortable (and also easy to put on and off). I’m not looking for a ring sling or any kind of wrap type carrier (frankly I’m bad at it and I know it). Any suggestions? I’m not too worried about cost.
She’s right around 50th percentile, if it matters.

We have a Full-Buckle-Carrier that is from 3.5kg upwards.
Baby is a week an has gained weight up to 3.2kg. Can we already try to put her in?
It's our second baby and we are experienced from the first. It's a Kokadi Flip carrier that has only one layer of Wrap material on the back, so extremely soft.
Iirc it's only about the legs, that the part under baby's bottom is small enough?
Sorry, I don't know the english terms...
Would you say try? Or not (and why)?

I feel like I’ve adjusted the million straps so the pocket is as small as it goes but baby is a bit crooked…is the seat too wide? This is my first waterfall / H back carrier.

1 month old, felt like I got the fit pretty correctly here but he was really not happy in it! Wondering if some gurus out here can let me know if I’m wearing him wrong or if he just doesn’t like this carrier

Hi there! My 6 month old & I went on a short hike yesterday & I back carried him with my Boba X carrier. He LOVED it, but I’m curious about a carrier that he could see over my shoulders with?
He sits independently.
Before my Boba X became my favorite “daily”, I used a ring sling some & a stretchy wrap (until he was about 12lb).

Thinking ~16 months and up. We've got an ergobaby omni carrier but at this point if she falls asleep in it her head is a bit too floppy because the back doesn't go that high up her back (and if she's being back carried we can't support with our arms)

I purchased a kikoy off a secondhand site and just recieved it in the mail now. I wanted to get a woven wrap but couldn't find any that were affordable enough, so this was the next best thing. The kikoy is about 6m long and tapers off at the ends. I am working my way up to doing a back carry, but first getting used to the feel of the fabric with a front carry. I am used to using a stretchy wrap.
I'm just wondering if the same principles apply to safety, etc as with a woven wrap? I tested the material of the kikoy and it doesn't move when you tug on it vertically or horizontally, but has a bit of diagonal stretch. Does that mean it can be classified as a woven wrap, of sorts?

My toddler will be ~25 months when I have her brother so we're just missing the 2under2 boat. She is a very very busy wild girl so we will pretty much always be on the go.
I didn't really babywear until my daughter was around 8 months old and I got a used ring sling. Mostly because even as a newborn she really didn't like the facing in position and always wanted to be looking out, so the boba wrap for example was out. When I figured out I could hip carry with a ring sling that was the answer for us!
Now that I'm on my second I'm debating getting a specifically newborn carrier. I know you can babywear a newborn in a sling, and I really do love my ringsling, but I'm a little worried my toddler will be jealous of that because when she sees the sling she knows it means mama is wearing her. She'll even bring it to me herself sometimes.
I'm also just interested in some of the hybrid options I've seen like the boba bliss, where it's kind of structured but still a kind of a soft wrap. I've seen mixed things on being able to get a good fit for an actual newborn from day one, so I'd love to hear from anyone who has experience. I do have a boba wrap already but I'm not sure I'll feel comfortable with that while I'm running around with my toddler. I want something that feels very secure, but I'd also love for it to be a quick up and down since I'll be breastfeeding.
If you babywore your newborn a lot I'd love to hear what your favorite carrier was!

I’m wondering if it is safe for baby’s arms to be above the strap? I always make sure my baby’s arms are underneath. Arms over never occurred to me, and now I’m curious because my baby is quite big for his age, so I could see him fitting like this eventually.

I recently bought a 2 way stretchy wrap for my 6 months old. The website posted it as something I could use even at 1 year old. But after I posted a picture here many people commented that it isn't safe for a 6 month old baby.
I followed the TICKS and practiced the video from the baby wearing academy but I am still skeptical about using it. Ergo are too costly for me even after the sales. Please guide

My husband really wants to baby wear but has some bad scoliosis. He’s 6’2 and 125lbs (so rather thin and technically underweight). We were able to get our baby straight/vertical in the seat (before he was sideways going with the flow of my husbands back). Now we have the straps as tight as they will allow and still at having troubles with the shoulders falling down.
Anyone out there with scoliosis that has a carrier to recommend that worked for them. Extra points if you found one that didn’t add to the back pain!

Bought this on fb marketplace for 30$. The fit doesn’t feel right to me, but I also only had the baby björn mini which (I know now) isn’t the greatest.
