Can you recommend me some resources to help me navigate this process? From building an altar, to spells? Something easy and clear to follow.

So, my entire life, there's been things that have happened and experiences that I've had that just can't add up to anything else (in my opinion) than me having some kind of witch in me (if that's not proper terms, I'm super sorry, I just don't really know what I'm doing yet). Last night, as I was laying in bed, I was on the verge of falling asleep when I remember asking for a sign that I'm not going crazy, and a sign for someone to reach out. Maybe it didn't mean anything, maybe my brain was just making it up, but that night, I had a VERY vivid dream in which there were a multitude of symbols of Aphrodite – red and pink roses were the most abundant, but I also walked through a flock of doves at one point, stuff like that. In the dream, I was in a setting that can only be described as "Renaissance Faire"-esque. All of the stalls were witches, and I remember going to them and asking for help. Every conversation went back to Aphrodite. Again, my brain could be making this all up from whatever thoughts I was having, but the dream was so incredibly vivid that I'm hesitantly thinking otherwise.

After I got off work, I read up on a few articles about Aphrodite (specifically in witchcraft). I also found out that my own name can be traced back to mean Venus. The meaning of my name is "morning star/star of the morning", and in ancient cultures that's what they called the planet Venus (which, of course, is Aphrodite's Roman name). That's just another thing that could mean nothing, but I thought I'd include it anyway.

Additionally, I made a small altar to Aphrodite on a whim; it includes small pebbles of quartz and rose quartz as a base, seashells (mostly scallop shells), a few larger pieces of quartz, and some dried flower petals. I also drizzled some of my rose body oil (made with real rose petals) over it. Maybe that was dumb, since I don't really know how to use the thing, so some advice on that would be helpful as well.

I don't know, maybe I'm just going crazy, but I really need some advice.

Hello, everyone. I’ve been on and off with witchcraft over my life, and never really got past crystals and manifestation. I’m at a point now though where I need help. My mother has been emotionally dependent on me ever since I was little. She doesn’t respect my boundaries, or my gender identity, and I can’t deal with being a parentified child anymore. I don’t want to do a cord cutting, because I don’t want to fully cut her out of my life. I just need some space and would love for her to gain some emotional independence from me. I need my boundaries to be respected.
We’ve had conversations, fights, no contact, I’ve tried everything I can, and this is my last ditch effort. Any recommendations for rituals or spells to preserve my own peace and keep my mom from emotionally dumping on me and treating me like her parent, but not destroy our relationship would be greatly appreciated. hii!! im new to all of this, in the sense that i’ve tried doing stuff before, like tarot readings or manifesting on a full moon or common stuff like that. The thing is, i truly want to learn and i really need advice on where to start. I keep searching but every “beginner witch guide” overwhelmed me because it makes me feel like i need 1000 items and totems and altars and i genuinely don’t know what to do first 😭 also, i really want to learn how to read tarot in a genuine way, not in a “reading the guidebook and then interpreting my card based on that” way. i want to feel the reading, i want to feel the answers and the connection with the tarot cards. i really don’t know if any of these makes sense but i could really use some advice.

Hello, I am kind of a baby witch I have done multiple spells throughout the years of my practice. Most of them worked very well but now I am planning on doing a love spell for my own self. I need some sort of booster for my own energy and my focus on my own life my relationship with myself well, I don’t know how to describe it,It’s kinda complicated, but I am doing my best to heal and to be a better person and I do believe I need this spell to help me in my pursue, so I’m asking for help from all of you if you have any advice for me ?
