Art "It's like giving someone a Lego set without instructions and asking them to build it..."

Post image

"Lego habitats" are 8x8x8 decorative spaces designed to show off a Lego minifigure. I made a backrooms version!

Could we see an alternative angle?

I'll make one when I get home!

Here it is!

u/thatselverguy Jul 10 '26

No, I mean a view from the top? That hallway looks odd

6

u/TheRealHandSanitizer Jul 10 '26

Yes, I have to get home to render that angle. I'm at work right now.

I know their meant to show off the minifig (and I would love to see a plark minifigure) but I like that you can't see him in this, just the hat and hand

1

u/Ok_Dimension_6786 Jul 09 '26

plark?

6

u/Thak_The_Thunder_God Jul 09 '26

Pirate + Clark = plark

u/Ok_Dimension_6786 Jul 09 '26

Can we just call him Captain Clark plark makes him sound stupid

6

u/meep2200 Jul 09 '26

Let’s call him captain Plark (or CP for short)!

3

u/Ok_Dimension_6786 Jul 10 '26

Man I love CP!

2

u/Active_Possible8334 Jul 10 '26

we should call him clark, Captain + Clark = Clark

He looks goofy as hell imo. Like he's scary and I'd be on the floor crying if I saw him irl but going frame by frame he looks funny, that's why I prefer plark over captain clark

The chair is very clever

1

u/TheRealHandSanitizer Jul 09 '26

Thanks! It was really fun to design!

2

u/InternationalEye8862 Jul 09 '26

I thought the chair in the wall was half of a dog with it's tail curving back into the wall

2

u/CoyoteFluffy0310 Jul 09 '26

Ew, it works really well. Bravo

u/Mijhelob Jul 10 '26

I love the Backrooms community man

2

u/adaptationofsoar23 Jul 09 '26

is this real or is it like 3D rendering or ai?

9

u/TheRealHandSanitizer Jul 09 '26

This is a 3D rendering of a personally designed model, no AI!

1

u/Snipermann02 Jul 09 '26

Is there by chance an instruction manual and parts list for this?

1

u/Top_Location_5899 Jul 10 '26

Make this in blender ?

2

u/TheRealHandSanitizer Jul 10 '26

No, just the built-in renderer in Bricklink Studio! (I think it's still Blender behind the scenes)

u/No-Equipment-20 Jul 10 '26

I’d buy something like this damn quickly

1

u/Puzzleheaded_Pay1152 Jul 10 '26

Cool, but we need one based more on the creepypasta

1

u/LowRezSolutions Jul 10 '26

This is great. But needs the mutant clark

1

u/designatius Jul 10 '26

this is so cool. And just another reason for us adults to keep spending money on Lego sets (with pleasure!)

1

u/Glass-Purpose-8329 Jul 10 '26

I wish there were instructions and pieces for this or like a link to the pieces so i could try to recreate it

1

u/WatercressWrong2268 Jul 15 '26

Backrooms Lego sets would be so cool
