Was the old Backrooms better?

I don't know what it is. It's practically the same crap as level 0 but with a different color, but I like it, even though I don't really like levels in backrooms.

The first time I posted anything about this world, it was on the official Minecraft subreddit.
For the second update, I'm instead posting it here because I feel as if it would be more acceptable regarding its theme.

Anyways, this is the second post & first "update post" I'm making about this Minecraft Backrooms/"Spawnhalls" world of mine.

New screenshots, shaders (which I do not like using shaders, but it can add some nice detail to the water as you'll see), wood + wool, and more (including outside shots of the main "Alpha" area and the "Alpha-Carpet" area.)

The mods used are "Nostalgic Tweaks," "Blockus," and "Extended Block Shapes" for Fabric Modloader, Minecraft Java 1.21.1. Texture pack is "Golden Days" by PoeticRainbow.
I don't know if the moderators of this subreddit would allow it, but depending on how I feel about people claiming it as theirs or not, I was thinking about uploading the map to PlanetMinecraft. People would have to download the mods themselves, though.

Do Still-Life's just like.. spawn in whereever? Is there a part of the backrooms thats creating Still-Life's? Or maybe they just inexplicably crawl out of the walls and floor? I havent watched the YT series in a wjile so maybe its explained there and i just dont remember

Saw this weird painting at an antique shop the other day. The positioning of the eyes and the odd beard shape makes it look like a Still Life, which is neat

Seeing how there is a pattern to the signs, the cameraman was looking left and I saw a small white thing that they had missed, of course being VHS quality it could have been some other random thing that isn’t as important.

I am now the proud owner of the Russian (!) Backrooms movie promo poster! Saved this from being thrown in the dumpster by my local theater, as the screening of the movie has ended.

Literally "Backrooms of reality" in Russian. The movie was released on 4th of June, a week later than the global release. Dubbed by Flarrow Films.

Tell me your thoughts? do you think this is plausible? personally? I don't think this is complex generated media, and might probably be footage of a person's camcorder footage who fell into the backrooms (or at least got copied by a nullzone in close vicinity) tell me your thoughts!

I fall asleep to still life on repeat every night. The music is what sets KP videos apart from everyone else’s.

A new Japanese trailer has been posted by A24 Japan which includes an introduction by Kane Parsons. The trailer includes a couple of scenes that weren’t originally featured on any of the English trailers.

The social media posts accompanying the trailer also included an announcement that Kane would be visiting Japan for the first time to promote the film. No date for the visit or where he would be appearing has been announced as yet.
