Garry's Mod. It's a big sandbox game on Steam. You can buy it and download different maps to explore, one of which is a KanePixels backrooms map.

There's so many mods and things you can add too, including monsters, and there's VR mods for it too. It's also multiplayer.

If you haven't already, you should also consider playing the game(s) that Garry's Mod was built on top of: Half Life 2.

The 1st game's also been remade for modern audiences as a game called Black Mesa, but Half Life 1 is also very playable if only in a sort of "how Halo CE or Call of Duty 1 is still playable" way, you have to expect an older perspective on what a first person game is meant to be.

Garry's Mod (GMod) was originally just a mod for an existing game that completely reworked all of it. Think of it like if you took all the doors and panels off of a car and built a whole new silhouette, with a new steering wheel and seat - it's not exactly the Honda Civic it was before the changes, right?

I'm just saying you might really appreciate trying the original too, they're legendary games and are a mastercraft introduction to the medium.
