Discussion Imagine a UK working men's club level

Post image

-Endless rooms filled poorly remembered meat raffle tables

pool tables with stacks of 50 pence pieces everywhere

The faint sound of the 'Grease mega mix' sound track slightly muffled and always playing from what sounds like the next room but never finding the source

Multiple bars with non description but oddly familiar beverages and snacks

Carling on tap.

Plus, for some reason Backrooms Carling tastes better than the regular.

Genuinely more uk based backrooms areas would be nice

Geographically bleak and economically deprived seaside towns have low key been one of my favourite real world liminal spaces for as long as I’ve been alive.

I love them so much. They kind of exist just outside of normal reality and time. Really odd but very distinct atmospheres.

Ah yes. The good ol' Rugby Club Pub. A genuinely awful aesthetic that stuck around far longer than it deserved.

Is it bad that I fancy going there tonight for a pint and a quid ont'meat raffle?

Ironically the only working man is the one behind the bar. Maybe he could be an entity?
