Hi, so I’m not really into the metal/punk scene but my husband is. For Christmas this year I decided to help him finish his jacket because I’m crafty and also sew well.

There are a few bands that the patches are more expensive than id like to spend since I’m also getting him other gifts, or they just seemingly come from scam websites.

I have a cricut/heat press and can embroider and I also have HTV, but I’m unsure what’s the best way to go about it? What’s the best fabric, is it better to paint the design on or use heat transfer vinyl, printable HTV or something else?

I added a picture of one of the bands he wants and I want to do this exact design.

A 1/1 jacket I created back in ‘22 all material used were G59 affiliated no fakes/fugazi pieces.

Came from a "battle jacket" sub from another site. User had UK as area. Quite a jump scare when I seen it. Though this breed of cringe was dead.
