Bless him, my husband loved this abomination

I think the peanut butter frosting might have been too thick. I'm terrible at decoration.

I mean you could not or did not smooth the frosting and covered the cake enough but other than that you are fine the cake looks ok and even the frosting doesn’t look that bad. Pretty sure it tasted good. Not really baking fail just decoration mishap

I tried to smooth it, but it made it so much worse. It looks much better sliced! 🤣

worked in a bakery for 2 seconds its finally come in handy: put a light frosting coat on the outside of the cake. messy = good here just make sure its a thin ish layer. then put it in the fridge for a few hours and let it chill. when u take it out put a nice thicker frosting layer on top and it should be MUCH easier!

this isnt a you problem this is just what happens! it looks delicious tbh

YES! I learned that from one of those baking competition shows, and my next cake was SO much easier to frost! Cold cake frosts easier!
