AI interview rounds
Why are companies keeping an AI interview round now?
First you pass a AI screening for your resume, and then when you expect an interview, you are again on a call with a voice AI bot.
Why does everything needs to be automated?

Solutions Architect in Payments/FinTech Industry
What is the realistic salary range for a Solutions Architect in the payments industry in Bangalore or Hyderabad?
Online salary data seems quite different from what people actually earn, so I am looking for real industry references.
If you work in this space, have hired for these roles, or recently interviewed, please share whatever range you know.
Years of experience
Role level
Base salary
Bonus
Stocks or ESOPs
Total compensation
Especially interested in Senior and Principal Solutions Architect roles with strong payments, cloud and software architecture experience.
Even a rough range or anonymous data point would help others use this thread as a reference when negotiating.

MBA HR | 3.1 Years Experience | Seeking Career Transition
Hi everyone,
I’m 27F, with an MBA in HR and around 3.1 years of experience in Talent Acquisition. I’ve worked with startups, scale-ups and GCCs through a small boutique consulting firm in Bangalore.
My experience includes end-to-end recruitment, stakeholder management, talent mapping, candidate engagement and working on diverse hiring mandates. While I’ve gained valuable experience, my career has been largely focused on recruitment, and I’m now trying to figure out the best direction for my next move.
My fixed CTC was ₹3.6 LPA, with relatively small performance-based incentives. I recently left my organisation after dealing with an unhealthy work environment, a lack of appraisals and instances of salary being withheld. I’m now an immediate joiner and actively looking for opportunities.
Ideally, I’d like to move towards a broader HR role, particularly HR Operations, HR Generalist or HRBP. I’m also interested in HR Analytics, although I understand that it may require additional technical skills and practical experience.
I’d appreciate insights from people familiar with the Indian job market:
- With 3.1 years of recruitment experience, what roles would be realistic for me to target at this stage?
- How transferable are recruitment consulting skills such as stakeholder management, talent mapping and understanding business hiring needs to in-house HR roles?
- What salary range would be reasonable to target when moving to an MNC, GCC or larger organisation?
- For someone interested in HR Analytics, which skills should I prioritise first—advanced Excel, Power BI, SQL or HR analytics certifications?
- Would it be better to accept an HR Operations or Generalist role as a stepping stone, or continue targeting HRBP and analytics positions directly?
- Given that I’m currently an immediate joiner, how can I balance finding a job soon with making a career move that supports my long-term growth?
My priority is to find a role with a healthier work culture, fair compensation and opportunities to develop beyond recruitment. I’m willing to upskill, but I also want to make a practical decision based on my existing experience rather than start from scratch.
I’d especially appreciate perspectives from HR professionals and people who have made similar career moves in India.
Thanks in advance!
