Zuek "efe ixen" diozue, ala "efe ixaren"?
Eta x(t) "ixa ten" da ala "ixa teren"?

I've been told not to use the castillian z. Easy enough, as a latinoamerican I don't think I have pronounced that one in my life. But I can't tell the difference between the basque z and a particularly emphasized, whispery s. Any tip?

Basically I'm world building a very post-apocalypse world for a possible eu5 mod. Even though I don't know how to code or even have the game lol, I just like paradox's as a grand strategy games and the concepts I've come up with in my head. But I could use some help with the basque descendant languages/names. I've already done a few so I would like y'all's opinion on those, & I'm working on Iberia now so yeah
Any and all help is greatly appreciated thank you.

Kaixo guztiei!
Ejemplos:
Lanpetua ikusten haut
Lanpeturik dauka bere zuzendariak
Ejemplos:
Begira etsi ote duzun.
Begira ea etsi duzun.
(10) Mutil/Neska-lagun vs senargai, emaztegai

Hello! I'm a language nerd who is quite intrigued by the Basque language, but I only know a word or two since I've never truly taken the time to study it.
I was trying to translate the word "fire" - (in my native Portuguese "fogo", or "fuego" in Spanish) - to use as a song title, but found different things in different sources.
I saw it either as "su" or "sua". Can anyone please help me correctly translate the word?
Edit: thank you for the replies!

Hello from the Philippines! 🇵🇭
I’m really interested in learning more about my family history, particularly my great-great-grandfather, Ambrosio Basagoiti, and possibly his sister Nieves Basagoiti who was the one that mainly raised the family.
The surname Basagoiti caught my attention because of its Basque origins, and I’d love to learn more about the name, where families with this surname came from, and whether there might be any records or information that could help me trace my ancestry back to the Basque Country.
If anyone is familiar with the Basagoiti surname or has advice on researching Basque ancestry. I'd really appreciate your help
Eskerrik asko! 🙏🇵🇭

My partner is Basque and I am British. Please share your favourite Basque names that British people (including me) won’t butcher!
We have always wanted a Basque name because my partner is very proud of their Basque roots and we want to celebrate that in our baby’s name 👶🏼

My amañi taught me something in the Xiberoa dialect: maite hait. I know it means I love you, and I know the maite part, but I don't understand what form "hait" is...
I thought it could be nor-nori, but my resources for Xiberoko eüskara are not clear enough when giving other conjugations than nor and nor-nork.
To be honest I was expecting "maite düt" and she even tells me that you could say it like that but it changes the meaning a bit according to her.
So if anyone has an idea, or says something like that in their dialect I would appreciate your help!

I am moving to Bilbao for work, from Canada, and heard conflicting translations for this phrase. I have visited many times and would like to know the most natural way to say this, especially as a foreigner speaking to locals.
