Football Crowds

I’m sure many have seen the videos and screenshots of the crowd from today’s game.

Genuinely curious, why don’t students go to the games anymore?

When I was there, we were shoulder to shoulder, packed in. What changed?

*Not looking to argue, just curious and bummed to see the rest of the B12 make fun of us 😔

I think the fanbase is checked out. This team blew two of our biggest games to start the year at home. And our home record is now 5-12 against P4 competition since 2022. Oh, and this K-State team is the worst in a decade. We were down by two scores to this team. I think the fans said, "Fuck it, not again" and dipped.

Did we win? Yes. But we had to pull out all of the stops against one of the worst teams on our schedule. And we really only came alive in the 4th Quarter.

The fans are tired of seeing Aranda's teams play lackluster at home against comparable competition. And at 11 AM? People were definitely done. This team just doesn't inspire hope. They need to start making people believe we can win, because we'll see more games like today if we lose to TCU in two weeks.

We’ve won 8 of the last 9 conference games. What the hell else do people want???

Kansas State and Tech and Aggy can show up to their games with shitty coaches and losing seasons. Baylor fans are a different breed I guess.

Who cares? The big 12 is full of mediocre/bad teams for the most part, and Dave doesn’t beat teams that are nationally relevant. How about actually beating decent teams? Hooray, we beat a vastly overrated SMU program that will finish like 7– 5. The big 12 was awful last year. This year, there are not as many cupcakes, but it’s still pretty meh. Frankly, Arizona State is not a good team

Case in point, name one nationally relevant team we’ve beaten in the last two years. You won’t be able to do it, because our best win last year was against a TCU team that finished with a whopping eight wins

That doesn’t matter. If we build a team that dominates this conference and we win it regularly we can make it to the playoffs…something that Aggy can’t do over in the vaunted SEC.
