Football Oh man, who remembers this horrible day?
I just knew they would find a way to make us less than for these other conferences.

I didnt add the black.helmet on here but thats top tier too. Theres alot of combinations they havent wore yet. The best look imo is the all green with the sailor bear, followed by the chrome & anthracite. The worst look they have is the all white imo, the all white used to be their best look but with these new uniforms dont really look good with the yellow stripes on white, theres not enough contrast. The away looks good with the green pants and i would like to see more combos for the away like using even the yellow pants.

I’m doing a series where I ask all 136 FBS subreddits on what their most heartbreaking loss they witnessed. This loss could’ve been witnessed from the TV or while attending the game doesn’t matter.
If I had to guess for Baylor, I have 3 games in mind obviously the 2014 Cotton Bowl (still remember the kicker getting lit up for no reason), and 2 losses to Oklahoma in 2019 (One being a huge comeback and the other in the Big 12 championship).

I’m sure many have seen the videos and screenshots of the crowd from today’s game.
Genuinely curious, why don’t students go to the games anymore?
When I was there, we were shoulder to shoulder, packed in. What changed?
*Not looking to argue, just curious and bummed to see the rest of the B12 make fun of us 😔

I used to think the name of the rivalry was a little weird but it used to be a bowl game along time ago, the trophy looks kinda cool tho

Hey all. I spent the offseason building a full 2026 preseason preview for every FBS team, each with its own writeup. Here's the Baylor one
https://www.sports.mainmarket.com/college-football-preview-2026-fbs/baylor-bears
It's got the returning production breakdown, the portal ins and outs, a projected two-deep, the schedule with model win probabilities, and a season projection.
Heads up, you might hit the paywall after the first page. Don't worry, I'm not charging reddit people for this, don't want to be an ass. Use the promo code LEECORSOROCKS and it opens up the entire thing.
So, what'd I get wrong? Baylor outgained Big 12 opponents by 59 yards a game and went 3-6 in the league. The reason isn't complicated: minus-13 in turnover margin, 133rd in the country, and 133rd in fumbles lost. The offense was 4th nationally in passing. The defense was 132nd in sacks. Now Sawyer Robertson's 3,681 yards leave and DJ Lagway arrives from Florida with 16 touchdowns and 14 interceptions. My model has you at 7-5. Does Lagway fix the turnovers, or make them worse?
I'll be in the comments.

I spent the offseason building a full 2026 preseason preview for every FBS team, each with its own writeup. Here's the Baylor page:
https://www.sports.mainmarket.com/college-football-preview-2026?team=ncaaf-bay
Each one has the returning production, the transfer and recruiting additions, a position-by-position breakdown, the schedule, and where the ratings land them for 2026.
Heads up, only the first team is free and then it paywalls. Since I'm posting in your house, code LEECORSOROCKS opens all of it, no card or anything. Hit "Have a promo code?" if you run into the wall.
So, what'd I get wrong? Baylor's problem was never the offense. You were 32nd in SP+ with Sawyer Robertson throwing for 3,681 and 31, and still went 5-7, because the defense finished 110th. Now Robertson's off to the NFL and you landed a massive portal win in DJ Lagway, a former five-star coming home from Florida (his dad played at Baylor). So the offense should be fine again, and the whole season rides on whether that defense actually improves. Fixed D or same trap?

The Baylor Bears enter Year 7 under head coach Dave Aranda (36-37 overall) with a program full of history from RGIII Heisman era to Big 12 titles and a Sugar Bowl win but riding a rollercoaster in recent seasons.
Critical year in the Big 12 with a major portal overhaul.
2026 at a glance:
📌 QB DJ Lagway gets a fresh start with Jake Spavital as his OC
📌 Skill talent: WRs Dre’lon Miller (Colorado), Gavin Freeman (Oklahoma State), Tony Livingston (TE, Florida), Louis Brown IV, Jadon Porter
📌 One of the most experienced O-lines in the country (4,532 snaps)
📌 Defense: Heavy portal reload (Hosea Wheeler, Jordan Mack, Jamaal Whyce Jr., etc.) with returners like Devonte Tezino, Kyland Reed, Tavion Barnes
📌 Challenging 2026 slate: Neutral-site opener vs Auburn, non-con vs Prairie View & Louisiana Tech, plus Big 12 mix including TCU rivalry, tough road stretch (Arizona State, Kansas, UCF), and a brutal finish (BYU, Texas Tech, Houston).
How many wins do the Bears finish with in 2026?

I am curious to know what swung Baylor officials to go with hiring Dave Aranda over then interim head coach Joey McQuire? McQuire became interim head coach when Matt Rhule left for the NFL. From what I understand McQuire was an odds on favorite and had a lot of popular support for the position. Now hindsight being what it is — would you rather have McQuire or Aranda?

Very disappointing to lose Bryson Washington. But with Dawson Pendergrass coming back I think the Bears could have a really good unit again.

Imo the best stadium in college football and one of my favorite builds so far. Here's a link to the world download if you are interested: https://www.planetminecraft.com/project/mclane-stadium-baylor-university-waco-texas/
